Lu Han rolls out of bed and fumbles for his pants on the floor. Yixing’s not doing any better, groaning in exhaustion as he stays on the bed. The on-duty room is still stuffy from... their earlier activities, but Lu Han doesn’t let that slow him down.
“Come on, stupid. You never know when something's going to happen,” Lu Han mutters, pulling the sheets off Yixing. The younger male curls into himself and tries to turn away. Lu Han’s warm hands roam down his back, one landing on his shoulder and the other over the swell of his butt.
“Let's go,” he coos, slapping Yixing’s skin. He winces at the contact and rolls onto his back to pull Lu Han down again. The other intern is still shirtless, trying to look for his shirt which they had thrown aside in haste.
Yixing hugs his torso and presses kisses against his side. “I know. We don't always get time like this, so can you please just shut up and let me have this?”
He doesn’t wait for Lu Han to answer before he crawls up and kisses him fully. Lu Han’s hands are on his shoulders, pushing him to sit on Lu Han's lap. Yixing leaned close until their breaths mixed and each puff of air would send shivers down their spines, making them grip each other's bodies like they never wanted to let go.
Lu Han closes what little distance is between them, and yes, he is going to let Yixing have this moment. And maybe he’ll take a little bit more time with it too.
The warmth of Yixing’s palm on his neck is disrupted by the sound of their pagers beeping. Yixing struggles to find and put on his clothes while Lu Han reads the code.
“I'm headed to the ER. Where are you going?” he asks when he finally puts on his shirt. Yixing tugs on his clothes and scans the tiny screen.
“ER. There must have been an accident.”
Lu Han rolls his eyes. “We work in a hospital. There's always an accident.”
Yixing smirks, leaving a short peck on his lips. “Let's race?”
“Ready as always!” Lu Han says as he runs out of the room and into the hallway.
