Two days in one!
Because I didn't get onto my computer until late last night, and I didn't feel like talking about work then. I'll cover that and Canada Day here. Because I can.
So work...Again, Helaine and I had nothing to do. We weren't supposed to have finished that rope job in one day, and because we had, we were in charge of finding something to do. We opted to hose down scaffold stations and play pokemon all day. Worked out well. The guys we share a lunch room with made breakfast for us, so I didn't even eat my lunch. It was pretty slack.
The only things worth noting are the changes that have been made to poor Reim, the pigeon murder scene, and Sam getting sick. I have pictures for the first two. For the third...Well, she was ill to the point of throwing up, so Helaine and I took her home. That's about all there is to say about that without possibly violating Sam's privacy.
Thus, let me present you with what's become of my latest drawing. It's evident the 'rough' supervisor wasn't around for the labour gang this week, as they actually mauled my drawing again. Good to see, good to see.
I don't know what's happening here, so don't ask. It's just...what they do. Fun times for everyone I suppose. Haha.
And then there's the pigeon murder scene. Right out back of the shop on top of the two by fours. Clearly, a raven or crow is eating pretty well. I got a few pictures of the more...evident areas, but I'll just put my favorite.
I love that, on the grey piece, you can see the other bird's foot print. In pigeon blood. Oh nature. I love you.
Then there's today. Today was good. While Hannah bailed on us for the long weekend, Ana, dad and I, still intend to have fun. We went to the Canada Day festival, wandered around, and had a day full of good food. Including this angel food roll cake with vanilla pudding and strawberry filling, topped with whipped cream. Which I helped make. And now know the recipe for.
