Slugger's first impression of Picky... is that he's nothing like Pokey.
He wants to know more about Picky to see what kind of brother he is to Pokey, but he gets the feeling Pokey is very fond and protective of him so Picky is therefore "okay" from Slugger's standpoint. And because of Picky's closeness to his brother, Slugger wouldn't hurt him or purposely make him feel uncomfortable. In fact, he's more likely to look out for Picky in the event that Pokey can't, just to be a good friend to Pokey.
He's kind of glad Picky is in Mayfield but at the same time, kind of not. While it's good seeing his best friend in better spirits (largely due to Picky's presence), he also sees how Mayfield could use Picky as a weapon to hurt Pokey. This is, in many ways, a conflict Slugger faces -- to have more people you care about in Mayfield is to have more people you care about getting hurt in Mayfield. So while he has nothing personal against Picky, he's not sure yet if having him here is a good or bad thing for Pokey.
Slugger is not 100% sure but he is 50% convinced, that in some alternate reality he and Ai are the same entity, and it is therefore acceptable for him to sit very close to her and hold her hand. There is a sense of "oneness" he has with her that he can't achieve with anyone else. While the Best Friend position is reserved for Pokey, Ai still occupies a position somewhere on the same level. For the sake of simplicity, we'll call it the Girlfriend position

It's no real surprise that Slugger gets along best with inhuman or abstract entities. He wasn't sure at first but he's gotten along surprisingly fast with Didi, namely because she is willing to accept even the worst of people so readily, which is probably the quickest way of making Slugger your friend. He's really coming to view her as the grandma he never had. And before Didi came along, Slugger had no idea what it was like to be hugged.
He feels like he can share almost anything with her without being judged. With current events, he's kind of hoping not to run into her because he'd rather not hear that she thinks of him as a fake.
Much like Didi, Slugger hopes he doesn't run into Death at any point during this event because he'd hate to be mistrusted by his own great-grandfather, which at this point, is how Slugger views Death. Unlike Didi, Death doesn't seem to have the same social awareness or in depth understanding of humans and this makes him very easy to relate to for Slugger. Death's acceptance of him as family through Susan was both surprising and appreciated.
Slugger admires Susan but he also admires Death, perhaps even more so. Death wasn't just assigned a role to play, he is what he does and yet has somehow developed a personality of his own distinct from other Deaths. In many ways, Slugger wants to be like him.
When Slugger first met Johan, he could tell there was something dark about him. He recalls a time when Johan's life ambition was to be the last person standing and he was excited at the prospect of bringing relief to Johan's potential victims. It was new and strange to him that a monster could exist within a man. For a while, Slugger was mentally preparing himself for the day when Johan came to break him.
But so much has changed since then. Slugger, while unsure about Johan at first, is beginning to trust him more and more, even coming to view him as a mentor or fatherly figure. It was when Slugger's powers had been taken away and he was approached by Johan then encouraged by Johan rather than broken down by him at a conveniently vulnerable time, that Slugger began to trust him. Like Slugger, Johan seems to be struggling with his identity as a monster, too. It's nice not to be the only one

As you've heard me ramble on and on before, Slugger has a lot of conflicting feelings attached to Edward. When Edward first became a housemate, Slugger was less than thrilled with the idea of sharing his household with a human (and a man) and was determined to strike fear into his new "father" to keep him in line. Given time, he's warmed up to Eddie and has learned his strengths and flaws

Slugger doesn't know what Nina thinks of him but his feelings for Nina are simply that she is Johan's twin sister and is therefor someone of value insofar as she is valuable to Johan. He's glad she's there for Johan to be his support system and to keep him sane and he hopes she doesn't get droned anytime soon. If he saw her in danger, he would probably try to help. He knows she's Johan's very important person just as Susan is one of his very important people so he wouldn't attack her or purposely make her feel uncomfortable. He's still kind of curious to know if Nina has a monster inside her like Johan, though I believe Johan told him otherwise.

...Or, well, since we talk about it so much, you can talk about anything you'd like! Or you can skip, that's fine!
