king & queen voting!
It's now time for the most important part of pre-Prom madness: voting for Prom King and Queen!
But before we do that offically, I want to make sure what I am planning makes any sense at all. How does I LJ game.
I'll make an IC post about it soon, probably tomorrow or Friday. I'll make a post in Mayfield_RPG or something for the actual voting post so everyone sees it. As for everyone else, feel free to start campaigning for the titles. The voting will last until Wednesday the 27th!
We're going to use this format to vote. ONLY ONE BALLOT PER CHARACTER. I will delete duplicates in order to save my sanity when tallying these later. Now, if you want to put a ballot up for your own character, and then someone else's who might be reluctant to throw their name into the ballot. For example, Nena's definitely going to submit her name in to be voted for Prom Queen. She might also submit her date Hong Kong's name for Prom King too, since he might not really care about it. Something like that. But please check the name before you post so we don't have doubles!
As far as voting... well, people are definitely going to want to rig the votes. But let's try to keep this logical so I don't get something like "Annie stuffs the ballot with 75 votes for Aaron for the lulz". I'll be tearing my hair out if that's the case though. XD Let's say each character can have 3 votes per each of their characters, per category. 3 to spend on King and 3 to spend on Queen votes. You can put them all on one character, or spead them out. So just comment with "+1", "+2" or "+3" for your number of votes!
A quick example would be like this:
VOTE FOR PROM KING HERE
-[Quinn posts here as a nominee]
----[Crowe posts here to vote] +2
-[Scout posts here as a nominee]
----[Crowe posts here to vote] +1
So, Crowe has used up all his votes on Prom King! He still has 3 to use on Queen.
THIS MAKES SENSE, RIGHT? If this sounds horrifically terrible, or anyone has more sane ideas, please for the love of god tell me. :3 I'm sure other games out there have done stuff like this, so please give me ideas. Now get out there and start having your characters campaining! Since the Prom is open to all characters, so is the King & Queen vote!
