Starting out with this base, which I think was done by inxsomniax

I took the cap offered on the challenge, selected Summer and Seth using the lasso tool, and filled the selection in black. Then I resized that to height of about 70, and pasted it unto the base {only the black part!} [Normal, 100%]

The cap again. This time I duplicated it a couple of times, setting the top layer, which I have desaturated, to Soft Light, and the middle one to Screen. resized that to a height of 70, and pasted unto the base. I selected a random brush as my eraser, and just started going around the edges. [Normal, 100%]

Same as the second step, except this time it's filled in white [I think I just did 'negative image'], and resized to a height of 50.
