Hi, everyone! It's such a lovely lazy day; New Year's Day always tends to be as such, at least in my family. No one wants to do anything because everyone stayed up past their bedtimes, so we all just laze around. It's lovely.
If you've noticed, I gave my journal a bit of a makeover; new layout, new moodtheme, and a couple new icons. I think I've finished editing SR, although probably as I'm posting I'll be correcting/changing things. So I can hopefully send off for my print copy by the middle of January. :)
But until then, it's the Your Childhood Memories Meme! (That's not what it's really called, I just thought it sounded cool.) Stolen from Rosanna.
-What spice girl were you when you were young?
My mom didn't allow for such frivolity. :P No, seriously, she never let me have a Barbie, so the Spice Girls were completely out of the question.
-Backstreet Boys or NSync?

-Did you watch S Club 7?
I don't even know what that is.
-What was your favorite, Sandlot or Little Rascals?
Sandlot. We like baseball in my house.
-Did you ever have light up sneakers?
YES, and they were AWESOME.
-What was your favorite thing about recess?
Quiet time to read or jump rope.
-Cinderella or Snow White?
Neither; when I was little my favorite princess was Sleeping Beauty, even though she was completely useless and dumb. I thought she had pretty hair and a pretty voice and that is what I cared about.
-Did you wake up really early just to watch cartoons on Saturday morning?
Oh, yeah.
-What was your favorite holiday?
Halloween, because I got to wear awesome costumes and it was two weeks after my birthday.
-Did you ever try to stay up on Christmas just so you could see Santa?
No, I was crazy superstitious and didn't want to mess it up. My brother wanted to and I always flipped out. "BUT THEN SANTA /WON'T COME/"
-Did you leave milk and cookies or milk and carrots?
BOTH. Oh, yeah. hXc.
-What grade did you like the best?
Pre-K was pretty damn awesome. I don't remember learning anything. xD
-Ninja Turtles or Power Rangers?
Neither. Dinosaurs were better than anything else in all the world when I was little!June.
-What Power Ranger were you?
The dinosaur one.
-Did you ever own a chinese jump rope?
Nah. I think someone brought one into school one time.
-What was your favorite thing to eat?
Tacos, probably. I love tacos.
-What was your favorite color?
GREEN.
-Do you remember watching "Gulah Gulah Island?"
Was that that show on Cartoon Network where some girl was shipwrecked with a bunch of island people and they had all these ~crazy shenanigans~? Because I watched that a couple times.

Sesame Street. Barney creeped me out, tbh, even though he was a dinosaur and dinosaurs were my personal Jesus as a child.
-Do you ever miss being a little kid?
Sometimes.

Not really.

I had pet rocks when I was like eleven but I forget what I named them.
-Who was your best friend in kindergarten?
My friend Helene, who's still like the only person from elementary school I talk to.
-Are you still friends with the person you were best friends with in the 3rd grade?
Yep, I do still talk to Helene.
-Where did you live when you were 9?
Same place I do now.
-How many times have you switched schools including preschool?
Elementary-> High school. My elementary was Pre-K through 8 and I was there the whole time. So only two school switches.
-What was your all time favorite movie?
When I was little? My mom says it was Twister and Independence Day.
-Which did you like 'Are You Afraid Of The Dark' or 'AHH! Real Monsters'?
No.
-Did you watch Rocko's Modern Life?
No.
-Who was your favorite character in Doug?
Didn't watch that.
-Did you ever want to watch slime time live?
I think so?

YES.

Damn, I haven't watched Rugrats in literally nine/ten years.
