Wednesdays Are Now Officially Awesome

So, I've been planning the college chaps of Hermione's ABCs. Our new heiress is Gabrielle, as predicted in the last post. I've been hitting a few road bumps to the college chaps.
Firstly, I decided it'd have to be a two-parter for the first time since Generation D. The title of which, BTW, "Dead!" is stolen from the My Chemical Romance song of the same name. Get used to our emo friends MCR, they'll be around contributing chapter names and various references for a little while. Wink wink nudge nudge. There have already been various references to them already. Like in "Kisses and Misses" Fred was on a date. "I don't love you!" "Like you did yesterday?" "I only just--! Wait, isn't that a song?" Ot something along those lines. Direct quotes from "I Don't Love You." Yeah.
Anyway. I had a huge jumble of ideas for the college chaps. There were words, phrases, characters, even imagined screenshots of certain events. I didn't actually sit down and really plan it until this afternoon. I have at least a basic story arc for Part 1 and Part 2 should easily follow.
I'm hunting for a certain item of CC for the college chaps. Custom eyes that look blind. You know, white, milky, rather scary and unsettling. I'm not really satisfied with the meager blind-eye offerings on modthesims. Can anyone direct me to an alternative? They gotta look really cool and scary.
I was quite anxious before this afternoon as my thoughts were going round in circles and everything kept contradicting other things. But I've finally sorted out at least Part 1.
Other news: I need to make a character in CAS but so fair I'm failing. My CAS, for some stupid reason, very rarely lets me create new Sims. I've only managed to successfully bring six new Sims to life: Hermione, my Simself, MiniJune, T'Pol, Candi020765's simself, and EphemeralToast's Simself. Oh, the hours wasted and profanities exclaimed as I try to insert Simselves in-game.
Worst comes to worst I'll take some townie into SimPE and stylize them as to my needs. Yay Sims Surgery!
And now to the title of this post. Tomorrow is Wednesday. Unless you do not in fact live in the East Coast of the United States of America and it's like already Wednesday. Or Thursday. Or whatever.
Anyway tomorrow for me is Wednesday. I'm participating in a survey and I get paid $50. And I've been doing decently in math lately. So I've been able to convince my mom to let me buy Sims stuff. All in all I'll get $100, so the other $50 gets put away. And thusly tomorrow or sometime this week I'll be buying Family Fun Stuff, Glamour Life Stuff, and...drumroll please...OPEN FOR BUSINESS!!
I'm a bit nervous about installing a new EP. But OFB has lesser requirements, being older, at least I hope. And if it doesn't work at all, well, I'll just uninstall it and let it collect dust until I have a better system. Which I expect will be in college. Siigh.
But I'm going crazy. I'm always beating myself up, saying I should have gotten OFB and not Seasons. But I know I'm a liar, I love Seasons and rain and hail and prettier pools. I never had any interest in playing a business. Wanna know why? Because years ago when we were only up to the Pets EP when I was like eleven or twelve my Simming aunt said it was hard. And therefore I took it extremely to heart. But I want Servos...and snapdragons...and evil jack-in-the-boxes...and that spinny thing that makes toddlers throw up.
Anyway, I'm used to crashiness and stuff. What's a little more? I need OFB for Gen H. One's going to be a hairdresser if all goes well!
