Question Meme!
I'm fulfilling my tagging requirements, yay! Here I have questions from Mae, Mara, and Kelsey.
Mae's Questions
1. How did you become June and/or Junebug?
I've always been terrible with choosing usernames, tbh. When I look back upon my history of usernames, they all, for the most part, were kind of dumb. Therefore, the story of "junebug13" isn't an epic.
a. It was June when I received my laptop.
b. I was thirteen.
c. One time long ago, I went with my family to some outdoor stage show or something, and people were singing, but there were swarms of June bugs that kept flying into their mouths so they would like choke, and it is a cherished memory in my family.
And then after awhile "Junebug" started to sound impersonal so I signed my name "June" instead. No, June is not my real name but I have chosen it as a nickname for myself.
2. Do you get along with your siblings?
Most of the time, but I can hold a wicked grudge. Some days are worse than others. Like today, my younger little brother woke me up screeching and jumping my other little brother. Not amused. :|
3. When you were younger, did you have a favorite stuffed animal or doll?
I still have attachment to my many stuffed animals which live in my bed. Yes, still. Some favorites were this little stuffed pink horse, a flamingo, and my collection of plastic dinosaur figurines. The dinosaurs used to live on my dresser drawer and I got all pissy when I got a new one and insisted it would make them sad.
4. Do you prefer showers or baths?
Showers. When you take a bath you're just sitting in your own filth.
5. Do you ever have insomnia?
Yes. Sometimes I just lie awake staring at the ceiling and willing myself to fall asleep. :(
Mara's Questions
1. Why junebug_13?
See Mae's first question for the full unabridged story. But yes, on LJ there is an underscore between the "junebug" and the "13" because "junebug13" was already taken.
2. Would you place yourself in any clique at your school, or do you transcend all labels. XD
I fit under the quiet smart bookworm girl with little interest in social events besides pizza parties.
3. If given the choice to live in a rural or urban area, which would you choose and why?
I'd probably lean more toward rural, but with a city nearby. I live in a fairly busy suburb right now and I like it.
4. Are you assertive in real life, or is it something you find easier online?
Definitely online because I can plan out what I'm saying better. IRL I tend to stumble over my words or not be able to find the right words. Off-line, I'm more likely to quietly nurse a grudge than confront someone directly.
5. What's your favorite kind of pizza?
Plain with cheese. Yeah, I'm super-boring when it comes to food choices. Pizza here is fucking awesome. :D
Kelsey's Questions
1. Who is your favorite premade sim, and why? Who's your favorite townie/NPC/dormie/downtownie?
I'm terrible when it comes to picking "favorites" of anything, but I do like Ginger Newson. For townies and the like I tend to stay attached to Sims I've used in my Legacy. So here's a list off the top of my head. AL townie Camryn Lee/Repo Man (lols)/LFT dormie with F2 and brown hair (Marion Thayer-Granger in my Legacy)/Ivy Copur
2. If you could act in any play, which play would you want to be a part of, and which character would you want to portray?
Either "A Very Potter Musical" or "Repo! The Genetic Opera." In AVPM, I'd want to be Ginny, and in R!TGO I'd want to be anyone, really, because they're all really awesome parts.
3. Do you know what you want to do when you leave high school, or are you still deciding?
I want to do something involving writing, be it creative writing, editing, or scriptwriting.
4. Can you remember your first crush?
When I was in Pre-K and Kindergarten I had a friend and I had a little-girl crush on him because he was "dangerous." (i.e. he didn't sit down immediately like me at circle time.) Then he moved away and the next time I saw him was years later at a funeral, so it wasn't exactly lending itself to romance. LOL.
5. If you were offered the chance to live forever, would you take it? Why or why not?
I got the chance to explore the possibility of eternal life in my story. I really think it would be miserable unless you were a sociopath and didn't care about being totally alone or watching people around you die.
