Hi, everyone!
Guess what, I got an idea for Sim Scenes today! Yeah, I've been out of the loop for a week or two now. I just haven't gotten ideas or had the time to cultivate ideas, and I haven't written a single word in NaNoWriMo for like an eternity. At least I shot a scene for Chapter 40! I even got out of building a set, I just had to redo the interior to suit my purposes.
Anyway! Sim Scenes! Usual drabble follows. The prompts this week were Video Game - Exasperation - Active.
Yay Demelza! Anyway, the Sims in this shoot are my Gen D spare Demelza and her alien son Pollux. Demelza's also known as her twin brother Draco's spunky mystery-solving companion, and if you read my Legacy and don't know who she is...I feel sorry for you. :P So in the shoot, Pollux acts as a child of my own heart and plays video games all day. His mother Demelza comes in at night and tells him to watch the time and get to bed soon. He does not and keeps on playing till morning. When Demelza catches him, all hell breaks loose. She lectures him, he throws a tantrum (cause that's what you do when you have zero nice points), but Demelza wins as she often does. Pollux is forced to play outdoors! In the sunshine! The horror! *hiss* But once he's gone, Demelza displays just where her son got his gamer's streak.
In canon with the Legacy, I highly doubt Demelza would be so uptight. But she might pretend to get to the video games. She's quite a good actress.
Also, when I ordered Pollux to pitch a fit with the Reaction Tester, he went all out, yelling and carrying on. I was...rather alarmed, I must admit. And Demelza kept smiling at him and wrecking shots. They're very close, Demelza and Pollux. Also, in the shot where Demelza catches Pollux and his head's bowed, that was pure coincidence. And he did it like twice in a row to make sure I had my shot! Sweet thing, despite his utter lack of nice points.
Would you believe I just wrote "night points" instead of "nice points"? WTF, Self?!
So in other news...really no other news to report. Having creativity block/ignorance. Reread The Umbrella Academy, and I swear it just keeps getting better. I should probably learn to read things more slowly so perhaps they will make more sense. Now I really want the next one...
