Hi, everyone!
Woah, it's Friday! And in class today I realized I hadn't yet shot my Sim Scenes for this week!! D: I had an idea earlier this week but I kept forgetting to shoot it. So I shot it today, yay! It was pretty fun. The prompts this week were Family Reunion - Anger - Crime.
This shoot's an odd mix of violence and cuteness, so I guess I'm still in the cute-shoot-club. So the shoot takes place mainly in a prison, where one inmate is angry over being tossed into said prison. His wife visits him, and they plot to break him out of jail. The wife breaks open the door and so begins their daring escape. The prison isn't very high-security, and the only one around is this one guard. She is determined to stop the breakout, and the prisoner threatens her to get the hell out of their way. She refuses, and the wife takes care of things. They escape the prison and head back home to their infant daughter, in a sweet ending.
I didn't really make it clear what the prisoner did purposely. So, was he incarcerated over a misunderstanding, and something had to be done? Or are he and his wife hardened criminals who both deserve to be in jail?
The Sims in this shoot are my Generation G spare Ginny and her family. I've used her and her two daughters, Kelly and Mint, in a shoot before, but this is her husband Rem's debut, per say. They're my first repeat Sims used in a shoot, but they're awesome. I had to age Kelly and Mint up and down, respectively; Kelly's the determined guard and Mint is the young daughter of the couple in the shoot. It made shooting the whole bit a bit tricky since they all kept smiling at each other. *facepalm* I drastically remodeled their house for the shoot, but didn't save so they don't have half a prison in their house anymore.
My shoot's sorta similar to my friend Kyra's entry for this week...I didn't mean to use the same idea, but I didn't have time to think something else up either. I hope she doesn't get mad...D:
So that's all from me for this week! I really ought to be getting the chapter into PowerPoint, but the baseball playoffs are on soooo...yeah. Should be out soon, though, and "Mama" soon after if not before. :) In case you don't hear again from me this weekend, happy Columbus Day to Americans and happy Thanksgiving to Canada on Monday!
