Random Randomness
Hi, everybody!
I've been busy, what with rehearsals and such. But Chapter 30 is written and awaiting publication!
Ch 30 has a really bad title, "Dinners and Teenagers." It's so vague. The original title was "Dinner and a Show" because of the cliffhanger of Ch 29...Gabi was having a guest over and Almeric was whining about it and the cliffhanger was their guest, Sebastian Philtre, was coming in a little while. So I thought since the dinner was the answer to the cliffhanger the title should consider it. Thus, "Dinner and a Show."
But the dinner is only twenty or fewer slides. The whole rest of the chapter are the H kids teenifying. This chapter, apart from the dinner, is mostly the set-up for the next few chapters. For a new plot that shall span until the DEATH of the Gen H heir. Yeah. Fear me!
Thus I renamed the chapter to "Teenagers" for about five seconds. Then I erased it because it was too vague. So now it's "Dinners and Teenagers." Which is, I now realize, even MORE vague.
Vague June is vague!
So I'll spend a lot of today rethinking titles. But I think the vague title's gonna stay.
The next title's been done for ages. It's going to be called "I'm Not Okay, I Promise" and it's MAJORLY plot-tastic. And if you'll believe it, I think I'll have to do ANOTHER teen years chapter after that. Three teenage chapters! I don't want to neglect Harry and Mimi, because 31's mostly Helena. And Harry and Mimi, curse it, are great Sims with amazing characters who are really interesting and fun.
I was going thru my downloads today and I realized I had a Hogwarts outfit for Harry which I totally forgot about. >.< I feel dumb.
Speaking of downloads, you know the Sims Store? I hate it SO MUCH. It's overpriced and dumb. And I hate it. Mostly because I WANT these clothes and hairs but I am NOT paying that much for them. So I've long been hunting Sims Store items to...uh..."borrow". I finally found them yesterday on MATY. Squee!
But some of the hairs are total unadultrated steaming hot piles of crap. The following photos were taken in Bodyshop and edited in Paint cause I'm cheap like that. Is Gimp free? I needs it.
Srsly, EAxis, ur doin it wrong! (Second hair's Raon.) But some of the Store stuff's decent. And the clothes are great; I'm a Maxis-match girl. I like the Maxian textures, believe it or not. I've only downloaded the random exclusive hairs and the Asian Fusion stuff, but I'm going to get the rest later today.
So that's that! Look for Chapter 30 later today!
