Hey, Scotty!
So this weekend was so awesome. Many stories to tell but I'll try not to ramble. Nick and I went with my 'rents and Dan to Universal Studios on Saturday. They had these random people dressed up as a variety of things roaming the streets. One was of a bumble bee, Nick and I laughed so hard cuz he would make the bee noise and run around like one. He got that on video too. We ate at Finnegan's (rip off of Bennigan's but with more actual Irish food) and they played mostly "Flogging Molly" which was exciting. Caught the Macy's Christmas Parade and ran over to Islands of Adventure. Spider-Man wait said 30 mins, but yeah ended up being 1 & 1/2 hours. GAH. So we couldn't go on The Hulk or any other ride cuz they closed at 7pm.
We then drove over to Bud's for a party, which ended up being a few of us just sitting around with a beer. This one guy passed out on the couch and not even 1/2 hour later started throwing up while still sleeping. He ended up spewing some chunks like 4-5 feet from him. It was SO disgusting yet I couldn't stop laughing. (If I see or hear someone doing that, it makes me nauseous) Nick and Bud kept on laughing after I curled on Nick and hid behind a pillow. Spent the night there.
Slept in Sunday and then piled in Jason's van and went to Bennigan's followed by The House of Blues for the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy concert. We were waitlig in line to buy tix (only Jason & Tiff had them) and this guy comes up and gives us 4 tix and says "Merry Christmas". BIG wow. So me, Nick, Bud and Vicky got in for free! I was feeling really icky (cramps and headache) but their music made me feel better and had a great time. I wish I knew how to swing dance... Afterwards we got to meet the band and got our pics taken with them and I got my ticket autographed. Chilled at Bud's for a bit and then got home around 3am. I needed to sleep in my bed with the way I was feeling.
I can't be more excited for this break. I have SO much stuff planned and other stuff that I wanna plan. Like the circus is coming Jan 5-9, anyone up for that? Tickets are $12-19 unless you wanna sit VIP for $30-60. haha. And we wanna go on another Casino Cruise sometime between Christmas and New Years. Lemme know if you wanna go to any of these!
