Wow,
I really miss this thing. The whole updating the journal because you have a lot on your mind but really you don't and you're just full from the pizza and half an italian sub and you just got home from the movies but you're too lazy to start up the scrubs dvd in the family room type of thing. Not that people actually care, but I guess for your entertainment and my own as well, as I have horrendous ability to recollect memories/instances, there will be more updating!
So, what's better than starting my first day as Rutgers alumni than doing 4 things I love the most:
1. Eat.
2. Chill with me-lady Leigh-Rex.
3. Straighten up 6 Rosewood while watching ________ (insert dvd here, but not here, in my dvd player).
4. Play basketball until my feet feel like they're going to fall off.
This is really scary. I don't want to turn into Jack Black in "Orange County". Although I absolutely adore that movie, and the ridiculous humor and laughing, I don't want to be 30, high on drugs, and really fat, living with my mom. I'll back in fifteen minutes, WITH the directory! But honestly, I just want a job that my undiagnosed attention deficit disorder will not take over. I am really considering some sort of line of work involving kids, because honestly, it takes one to know one. I work extremely well with children; we're on the same wavelength. Wanna play with legos ? Well, so do I. Thirsty for chocolate milk ? Well, why didn't you say so? Awesome! It's fairly simple.
As for TV and Media Production or even Public Relations, I can say that I am fairly research savy and I can write voice-over scripts (TV). Who knows. Whatever, I hate writing cover letters. This whole applying for jobs thing is really a pain, and I've only applied to ONE place ! I need to talk to my NBC human resources people sometime next week about any job openings at all. I like being at 30 Rock, it's a pretty cool place and there's always famous people floating in and out. Zach Braff got out of his car, turned my way, and hit me with his nose. I told Puffy he had an excellent interview on Conan. Jesse Bradford (Swimfan ahahaha and Flyboys?) even said I had cool sneakers. Not that any of that crap matters, it was just cool being around "famous" people. I'm going to miss my sports internship, even though I made negative $30.00/hr., it was just a hilarious environment. Bubba Beck even bought me lunch. I really did learn a lot there. It's just time for summer and the "next stage in life", I guess.
So yeah, This summer is going to be fairly action packed. I'm re-painting my room, which has the original wallpaper from when we moved to Milltown spring of 1985. It will be a fairly large pain in the ass, as I have to move all of the stuff already in here up to the computer room in ADDITION to all of my belongings in my house in New Brunswick. Being the fiscally responsible young adult that I am pause not, I am living at home until I've saved enough money to live in an apartment, maybe roommates or something for at least a couple of years. Man, this saving money thing SUCKS, and I don't even have money to save ! Sort of. I better hit it big at those poker tables in AC! ;)
Another summer happening: me and Jabromo (for those of you who don't know, that is what I call my sister Laura, an evolution: Moron-->Momo-->Mo-->Jabroni-->Jabromo) are going to California, the Phillipines, and Japan (I think) for about a month. Hopefully I won't enjoy myself too much that I'll never want to leave.. I mean, it's not like I have to come back for classes or school ! Ahahahaha le-sigh...
I miss Death Valley Rally. Wes, (maybe) Harto/Brian, I know you guys are reading this, can we at least try and lay something down, I don't care if it's 3 songs (although we only have 3 songs in the first place). Andrea, I know you got that wacky digital recordamabober studio multitrack, let's get it going ! I got all these ideas, just burnin' through my skull! (Orange County reference #2).
Dude, I'm telling you... I don't know when it's going to happen, or what I'm going to be doing, but I'm gonna be in a band.. a big one.. and it is going to rock.
That is all for now.
