Rumors concerning Kitagawa and possible sexual harassment of the youth in his employ had surrounded the agency since 1988, when Koji Kita (北公次 ,Kita Kōji?), a former member of Four Leaves, published a series of diaries under the title Hikaru Genji e (光Genjiへ ,To Hikaru Genji?). Kita claimed that Kitagawa had used his position of influence over the group to make unwanted sexual advances towards the boys under contract to him. Similar allegations were made in a book published in 1996 by Junya Hiramota, a former member of another of Kitagawa's bands. Hiramota alleged that he had seen Kitagawa force a boy to have sex with him in one of the talent agency's dormitories. Later, in 1999, the weekly newspaper Shūkan Bunshun (週刊文春 ?) printed a ten-part series that detailed numerous allegations of sexual improprieties. The accusers were a dozen teenage boys who had been recruited into the Johnny & Associates organization, who spoke on condition of anonymity. In addition, the series also accused Kitagawa of permitting minors in his employ to drink alcohol and smoke. The accusations prompted international newspaper coverage.

i've never ever heard about this before, even though it's really really old news. not that i believe it's absolutely true but... well, still it is considered shocking to me. i mean, i've always admired Johnny & thought of him as an amazingly smart businessman. without him there would be no KAT-TUN & i like him much better than Lee Soo Man, much much much better & i'm really really glad that KAT-TUN is under Johnny's Entertainment, not SM Entertainment. well, Johnny denied any wrongdoings & JE is still doing fine nowadays, so i think we can trust Johnny. but well, sexual harrassment isn't something that never ever happens, especially when you're involved in entertainment businesses & it comes as no surprise that Johnny might be gay.
i've been reading articles about the accident that happen to Super Junior's members in april 2007. this is not the first time i read these, but it still brought tears to my eyes even though i'm not a fan of Kyuhyun, Eeteuk, Eunhyuk or Shindong. since i've already undergone that kind of accidents, i could somewhat understand, & i could imagine how worried the fans had been. i cried mostly because of the fans who stayed up all night praying or maybe they were so worried they couldnt sleep, because it feels horrible when you can do nothing but pray. so KAT-TUN, Donghae & others' idols too, please stay healthy & don't make us fans worry. again, please, don't let it happen to yourselves, my dears.
