Remembering
When I was walking in from the parking garage today, I suddenly missed New York. Sometimes certain weather, temperature, or smell makes me think of New York. Then I thought, how apropos that today I would miss New York. Today is not pretty, it's grey and gloomy. It made me think of walking in Chinatown on an autumn day, when the day is still early and the streets are not crowded. Sometimes you can smell the noodle broth aroma from restaurants. I miss that. Today my little sister turns 11. She was 4 on 9/11.
