I almost quit my Bloomy's job a couple nights ago.  I went to work Tuesday night and it was really slow all night.  I didn't even have a single customer until about 8:30.  At 8:55 a guy came and said he needed to have 4 things gift wrapped, and 1 of them was an extra large box.  I told him very politely and apologetically that we were closing in 5 minutes and that it would take me at least 20-30 minutes to wrap the items.  I asked him if he could leave them and come back the next day to pick them up.  The jerk ass started fussing and saying that was poor customer service and that my manager would have me wrap them.  So I called one of the managers to check, and the manager was like, "yeah, our store is still open, so you have to wrap them."  Fine, whatever.  So I did it with a smile on my face.  Even though my blood was boiling inside.  Our store closed at 9pm, I finished wrapping the gifts at 9:30.  Then I still had to do all the other regular closing stuff.  What really pissed me off about the whole thing was that none of the closing managers came to check on me and ask me if I needed help with closing.  Even though one of them was the one who made me stay late to help the jackass who has to come to the store at the last minute to get something.  I don't understand people.  When I walked out of the store at 9:50, all the managers were waiting outside, looking as if I was holding them up!  Nobody even thanked me for staying late or anything like that.  I was furious!  Ugh... if I didn't like my department manager so much, I would have given my notice right then.  People are so rude and inconsiderate!

I wish I didn't have to go to work tonight.  I'm so not in the mood for it.
