What with fandom being abuzz about it, I decided to have a look at Sherlock tonight. Okay, after I found out that all the episodes of third season "The Closer" apparently have been deleted off of megavideo. MEEP!!!
But Sherlock. I quite like it. A lot. Though obviously I spent too much time watching US television, as I do have to listen carefully to understand them. It's weird to think that I've never been to the US but thanks to The Wire I would probably be totally fine in downtown Baltimore. Huh.
Back to Sherlock. Love the concept of taking Sherlock and Watson and transporting them to now. And Martin Freeman! Whee! Don't think I've ever seen Benedict Cumberbatch (how awesome is that name?) before but just as I was getting over my first impression of "wow, it's Methos younger brother!", he went and smirked and - looked exactly like a former crush of mine. Dude. Weird. And I've not decided yet if that good!weird or bad!weird. Huh.
