Alured is an inch bigger already! I know all babies grow fast, but it just seems so much more amazing when it's my kid. I can feel that he's heavier

"Would you be okay with little Morty growing up to be taller than you are?" Ali's a little worried that he won't be okay at all.

Of course I would. It would mean he had a healthier childhood. *And he likes the idea of his little alternate turning out different from him.*

She smiles, nodding. "Yes, he will have that. Lyn too."

[jumpyspringy]

*He nods.* And more interesting too, I'll bet.

[vicioussweetie]

"Well, I certainly plan to try to make them more pleasant." She steals a kiss, then continues. "I think I've talked Lyn into letting us take her to the clinic where I got my new hand. I promised we'd go to Disney World afterwards. I hope nobody'll mind?"

*He claims a kiss of his own.* Well as long as I don't have to wear a mouse hat...

They can help her there?

"Yes, love, I'll have everything arranged before we go. They're definitely able to make sure everyone who visits has a good time."

*He half smiles.* Not at Disney World, at the clinic.

[vicioussweetie]

"Oh. Well, we won't know that until we get there. But they helped me. And they're some of the best doctors in the world. If they can't, they'll know who can." Because the idea of there not being help doesn't exist in Ali's mind.

I had wondered about that, if there were treatments now that there weren't in the 80's.

"I'd imagine so."
