Ali, Sasha, I saw our future daughters in the Nexus. They were beautiful and smart and wondering why their dad was dumb enough to eat the cookies.

I'm sorry future me. I had no way of knowing El had a camera phone.

Seeing them wasn't any less amazing than it was last time.

Yes, we will. *He thinks about what Amaris told him and smiles.*

"Mmm, so. We need to stock the freezer with things so we don't have to worry about food for a few months. Or, more correctly, tell Jenna and Granny what we want so they don't descend upon us with seventeen helpings of Everything. Any requests?"

*He laughs.* Mm... spicy... and teriyaki... and meat pies. And if they're going to spoil us with sweets as well I request something involving raspberry.

Are we going to have to buy an extra freezer?

"No, I think I can keep them from going that far by pointing out they can bring us fresh things sometimes." She pulls away enough to get a small pad and pencil from her pocket and write those things down.

Even an extra freezer's worth wouldn't last all that long with all the kids in the house.

Do you think we should do some Valentines stuff with them? See how much red and pink glitter they can get all over the place making cards?

She smiles. "I think that would be fun. We should."

Ok, I'll go get some valentine arts and crafts stuff in a couple days.

I was thinking maybe cookie decorating too. I don't think Little Morty and Lyn have gotten to do that before. *Which may or may not be just an excuse to make a boatload of cookies.*

"I like that idea. We could make heart-shaped ones, and cut out parts of some of them, and make cookie and frosting sandwiches."

[jumpyspringy]

*He nods.* I bet the kids will like that.

I keep thinking about what I might do for V-day next year when the restaurant is going. I tried to find anatomical heart cookie cutters online, but I couldn't.

"I know they make molds for jello-type foods in various body-part shapes. You could do jellos and some sort of custard, like creme brulee or panne cotta. And you could have body-part cookie cutters made, too. They'd go with the theme all year really. Oh! And you could have a dessert that's vanilla pudding with peeled grapes and strawberry slices, and say it's the leftover bits."

Ali blinks, realises she's been rambling, and giggles softly. "Sorry."

*He grins.* Don't be sorry, I'm glad you're into it.

It's of course mostly going to be brains, but I'm sure I can think of things to do with other body parts. The leftover bits idea is good.

You know, zombies: Urrrr.... Braaaaaaains... Classic movie zombies eat brains.

Although the newer ones just seem to be flesh eating, so I guess I could branch out more...
