"We can start tomorrow if you'd like. And I can't really think of anything I need..."

I have no previous plans. *He smiles.* I can't think of anything I need either. There isn't much else I could ask for.

She hugs him, snuggling close. "Shall we all go and look for a tree tomorrow then?"

[jumpyspringy]

*He puts his arms around her and fits his body to hers.* That sounds great love. How big of a tree are we looking for?

[vicioussweetie]

"Pretty tall. We usually get a ten to twelve foot tree, since the ceilings are so high."

[jumpyspringy]

*He grins. A big-ass tree! His inner child is telling him this would be a great excuse to climb on the wall.*

Whoa. That's going to be fun.

[vicioussweetie]

She nods. "You remember how beautiful it was last year. I think we should have another tree this year, though, with ornaments we won't really cry about getting broken, since this year there's kids and kittens and fire lizards, oh my." She giggles. "We could get some plain glass ones and paint them ourselves, all of us, and it'd be our family tree."

[jumpyspringy]

That sounds like a good idea, I'd like that. *He doesn't like to admit it out loud, but he's a sucker for family things.*

[vicioussweetie]

"Good, 'cause you're going to have to be in charge of the heavy lifting. Heavens know I shouldn't be doing much anymore." She rubs her stomach with a fond smile.

[jumpyspringy]

*He puts his hand over hers, spreading his fingers wide.* I can manage that.

[vicioussweetie]

"Such a good daddy." She smiles lovingly to him.

[jumpyspringy]

*He smiles back at her and kisses her neck.* I'll try to be.

Alured's only going to miss Christmas by a couple months... Think he can hear all the carols?

"I'm sure he can. Quite sure."
