Morty was settled near the balefire with a book on woodworking and a covered dish of meat. He had pretty much spent the majority of the past week that way, waiting for the fire lizard egg to hatch.

Ali's curled up on the bed in 'her' room, working on a bit of lace and bobbing her head to whatever music she's got piping through her headphones.

The man with the dragon said only the gold ones are female. So this one's a he.

*He sits down on the bed next to Ali.* He's so cute. I wonder how long til he grows out of it.

She holds out a hand for the little lizard to investigate, wrapping her other arm around Mortimer. "Not for a while yet, I'm sure. Does he have a name?"
