dream judging? judge dreaming?
a week from today, i will be attending the last of my winter semester classes. WOO HOO. i'll be finished with all my required pysch classes, so only the fun electives are left. i can't wait for springgggggggggggggggg!
in typical mackenzie style, i'll use some bullet points to update what's been going on in the life:
- i got a second job at a cafe in lindon about a month ago, waitressing. so fun! it's a small family restaurant, flexible hours, nice people. business is kinda slow sometimes but generally steady. i make good enough money.
- i really like dating beau. he is a good guy. katie finally was able to meet him! yay. spring semester will be so fun with more time to hang out with him. and less roommates.
- speaking of which, my apartment is getting so sick of each other... it's a good thing one roommate moves out sunday, and the others gradually leaving next week and the week after. nothing specific, it's just time to go home.
- i think i might take dressage lessons at a farm about 30 minutes away. kinda far, and in the opposite direction as the cafe, but once a week won't kill me.
- also, i called a lady about exercising her horse who is recovering from an injury. i'll meet with her sometime in the next week and see if it'll work out. yay for jobs with horses!
- i had a dream last night that i wrecked the cougar. i was sad.
- my birthday is soon! i keep forgetting that. i'm excited to not have to call myself a teenager anymore. beau likes to remind me of that. it's kind of weird, considering he's 22.
- lauren fuller finally got engaged on friday! we're having a bridal shower for her next week... bahaha i'm excited. wedding will be the end of august.
