so for some reason, even though I haven't drank lemonade in ages, I've taken to making homemade lemonade. I sweeten it with Splenda, because I'm trying to curb my sugar intake. It's been an ongoing fight, but I think I'm winning :) The veggie truck up the road makes it easy: 7 lemons, $2. What? That's freakin' awesome. I made a batch last night and I added a few strawberries to the mix. Daaaayem... Thassum gooood lemonade. Or maybe it's just really hot out today and monkey piss would taste good to me right now so long as it was cold. Nah, I had some last night while I was chill. It was good then, too.
In other exciting news:
I broke Ben's digital camera when we were coming back from Michigan. Oops. However, I quickly rectified the problem by offering a trade on Etsy. I got a response right away and I'll be exchanging some of my graphic design work (web banners :)) for a digital camera. Yay! :)
Via a thread on the Etsy forums yesterday, I discovered FreeCycle, and through it, a couple who is getting rid of an old copy machine. Only problem is, I don't have access to a truck (that I know of). Apparently, it is huge, heavy, and old. It works and all, it's just... cumbersome. And expensive to refill the toner, as well. So, while it'd be great to have a copy machine, maybe this isn't the one for me, even if it IS free.
Eh. I got nothin else, really. Nothing I actually want to write in my LJ anyway. No offense. :)
