(no subject)
Yippee!!!! We booked our trip to the UK! I can hardly believe it! Four months from now, we'll tour London, Endinburgh, and Dublin. We'll be in Dublin on our one year anniversary. Cool!
The only bad thing is that I can't take any vacation time ALL SUMMER LONG, and I'm going to have to work a bunch of comp time, so I don't have to take leave without pay. By Sept. 24th, I'll be READY for two weeks far, far away! :) I'm sure it will be very much worth it though. Now I just need to do research to figure out what attractions we should see on our "free" days. We're going with a tour group (mostly because it was a lot less scary for us to do it that way then to figure it all out on our own. This is, afterall, pretty much the first time out of the country for both of us.), and there are some great excursions ( I love that word. It makes me think of Hyacinth on Keeping Up Appearances) we're going to pay extra to do, but we'll still have some free time in each place. I'm sort of interested in doing some sort of ghost tour, or something spooky like that.
