the day popcorn betrayed me
I remembered why I chose 'jumpingpopcorns' as my LJ name - simple, because of my love for popcorn:
Shall list down why I love popcorn:
1. Movies are tasteless and stale without popcorn
2. Popcorn is the popped version of corn seeds = corn is vege... I'm taking my daily intake of vege right?? *wink wink* hehe
3. It's a fuss free snack without getting your hands too dirty - U don't even have to look at what u're grabbing, it's a grab-and-go snack!
4. I love both sweet and salted popcorn!!!!!! awesome! haha
5. The box works well to cover my eyes in scary movies =)
6. Encourages bonding = popcorn is meant to be shared, well, I do share ok, I'm not a popcorn-hogger..
7. U know that even though u didn't enjoy the movie, u enjoyed the popcorn =D
But then, last week, popcorn betrayed me =(
It gave me lock jaws...
Well, I was watching movies in 2 consecutive nights, so obviously, I ate popcorn for 2 consecutive nights...
So on the 2nd night, while watching ghosts of girlfriend's pasts, my jaw got stuck while chewing on my popcorn. And boy, it was an uncomfortable feeling. I couldn't enjoy watching the movie for quite a while, and I couldn't chew properly. It was just stuck, but not stuck open. Just fell that my jaw was not in it's right position....so i had to 'crack it' - u know, how u crack your knuckes? ya, that kinda 'crack'....
so after gnawing up and down on my jaw, and a few attempts, i managed to hear the 'crack' sound on my jaw and felt an immense relief..haha..but my jaw felt so sore that I couldn't finish my popcorn... =((
So now, my jaw is in its right position, but i still feel the jaw-bone rubbing against one another when I close my mouth. Sigh...oh my popcorn...
Well, for now, I shall move on to my next love - DURIANS!!!
