(no subject)
Some good news...
a) I passed a telephone interview from Stream, and am going to a presentation/orientation/in-person interview on Feb 5th! I've heard a lot of good things about that company as an employer, so I'm excited that I might get a chance to work there.
b) I found a good guitar version of Love Story by Taylor Swift, and I rock it! I don't have all the lyrics down yet, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. (February 2nd edit: I've memorized all the song lyrics and chords, and now I TRULY rock it!)
c) The business network breakfast that I helped put on was a big success this morning, and everybody seemed to enjoy themselves. Plus, I got some bagels out of it, so I won't starve this week!
d) I can fit in to my only pair of brown slacks again and maybe a few other things I haven't tried on recently, which expands my wardrobe options.
e) Being a calm assertive pack leader at home is making me more confident in other areas of my life. Also, when I walk my dogs, I'm proud that they walk on a loose leash at my side instead of pulling in front, stopping dead in their tracks to smell whatever they want, or acting anxiously while passing other dogs. I'm just proud in general at how wonderful my dogs are now that I've learned that all dogs want is a stable pack leader to keep them in a balanced, calm-submissive state of mind. It's a beautiful thing.
In other news, I'm seeing a lack of all of you writing in your journals about what someone would know if they really knew you, what you're honestly angry about, and what you really crave in life. Tell me, tell yourself, tell everyone... trust me, you'll be glad you did!
