Mmmm, Earthy Lentil Soup is on the stove as we speak. It feels like it's been a while since I've cooked something so exciting from scratch! I threw in some garlic, onions, potato, carrots, asparagus, wild and brown rice, vegetable stock, a whole wack of different types of lentils, some veggie ground round, some italian herbs, and sesame oil. I remember many a night in the past few years enjoying this recipe... and by recipe, it's more of an approximation, since the veggies are different each time according to what's in the fridge. Twenty minutes 'till it's done!
Also, why is Ugly Betty not on tonight? I love that show because I really see parts of myself in Betty's character. Moving out on her own, getting into the career world, etc. It's good stuff. Oh well, guess I'll watch Click instead!
