I'm having tons of really awesome, vivid dreams. I love how creative my mind is when I'm asleep. The last couple nights have been filled with Will Ferrell, guinea pigs, Hilary Duff, swimming pools, dolphin bobbles, running, flooding basements, train wrecks, bombs, oceans... it's fantastic!
I read one of the most hitting-home phrases ever in "Women Who Run With The Wolves" last night... it had to do with the original storey of the Ugly Duckling, where the duckling struggled to find acceptance all through winter, and no matter how cold, lonely, and dark it was, spring came. Spring always follows winter. That might seem pretty basic, like duh, what else would come after winter? But in the context of our lives, of my history with depression and other things, it's so true. I held on and survived a winter in my life, and spring, in fact, came. What a wonderful thing.
In other news, the guinea pigs are back on their fleece bedding, and couldn't be happier. They're racing around as fast as their little feet can carry them, and constantly loving that farm-fresh hay. I haven't re-assembled their lofts yet, but I look forward to doing that within the next week or so.
What a relief to have finished the whole new marketing-pitch project at work. We've now got the listing, and next week will be filled with wonderful things like going through all the photographs I took, and putting together another steller brochure. Don't worry, I'll post it so you all can admire my creative flare :)
I can't believe how expensive Cadbury Mini Eggs are. I mean, really! Just under $13 plus tax for 950g. That's not even a kg! For $13! That bag better last me a while, I swear. I have a secret about this issue, but I'll never tell! ("The secret is in the frosting... but I'll never tell!" -Peter, Family Guy)
