(no subject)
I was walking around barefoot last night, and my floor was so dirty that it felt like I was walking on pavement instead of smooth laminate. So, today after work I came home and vacuumed up the loose stuff, and Swiffer wet-jetted the rest. I still have to scrub the stuck-on stuff one of these days... likely glue or something from all the renos we had done late last year/early this year. Anyway, I knew it wouldn't make sense to clean the floor without cleaning the main source of dirt- the dogs. So, I ran some water in the bath tub and washed their bellies and legs that often pick up dirt when we go for our daily walks. I'm pretty tired now, and look forward to a relaxing evening of tv and candy hearts. Happy Valentine's day! And in honour of it, one of my favourite icons ever (and my personal motto).
Oh! Earlier today I got to go photograph our newest listing - a 1.5 million dollar property. It's two acres with a giant parking area, man-made pond, 4 bay shop with 2 bedroom suite, 5000 sq ft house with 4 bedrooms. There's beautiful mountain views all around, and the home was so majestic. The only downside was the animal heads mounted all over the walls, but I guess to each their own. We had this property listed before to a fisherman, and he had fake fish mounted on the walls. Not my style, but I guess it's just an animal-mounting kind of place. Photography and photo-editing are my favourite parts of the job.
