There is nobody online this weekend. Nobody on msn, nobody on facebook, nobody on livejournal... it's SURREAL! I feel a bit lonely because of it, since online is my social life and what I use to set up face-to-face social life occasions. I hope this doesn't persist... it's awfully lonely.
On the positive side, I've been playing piano like nobody's business and have a good foundation on a song I just got two days ago, called Breakfast At Tiffany's (not from the OST. You'll recognize the lyrics: "and I said "what about Breakfast at Tiffany's"? She said, "I think I remember the film and as I recall I think we both kind of like it", and I said, "well that's the one thing we got!") Great song. Usually I kind of suck at songs that are faster, but the note sequences aren't so complicated as to screw up my rhythm. Don't worry all my faithful fans, I will try to record it soon! :p
Yesterday I packed my first 3 boxes of out-of-season clothes and memorabilia. It was fun to go through all my old things again.. report cards from middle school, where I got straight As except for a B every term in P.E., old book reports that I poured a lot of efford into at 4am on the due date, a brief auto-biography in french accompanied with pictures from my childhood (Brownies, Sparks, Figure Skating, Legacy (my horse), Kathy (my best friend of the time)). It was pretty cool. I also came across my certificate of recognition for high-achievement in grade 7 humanities, which I recall as my only class where I mingled with a cool person... and when it was presented in the year-end assembly, she (Kristen "Micky" Jashinsky sp?) cheered for me. Definitely a memorable moment in my life. And then, I came across a large package of quoted emails from correspondence with Nick Point when we were close, around grade 10. That was definitely a trip down an old road... man... do WE EVER have history! I could write a very long, extensive livejournal post about that... it is, however, a story with an unforgettable heartwarming ending. Anyways..
In other news, now that I've got a piano coming and boxes beginning to get packed, things are starting to come together.
