(no subject)
I've been a bit inactive for the past few days on lj because our modem was on it's last legs. Anyway, I've been doing lots of painting/staining... hard work, especially out in the sun! Also, there's now some vinyl siding on the mobile! Pictures later. The great thing about this computer is that it has slots in the front of the tower, and one works with my computer memory card. I can just pop it in, and go! Pretty sweet.

After continuing to bug and not get any response from Corinne at The Brick about borrowing some furniture for the mobile home showings and open-houses, mom and I went down yesterday to see what was up. It came out that she hadn't even had a meeting with her manager yet to discuss it, let alone have anything lined up for us. Mom kicked some butt (in a polite but firm way), conveying her disappointment and anger. Also, our appliance delivery date had been changed on us, which we weren't very happy about. We got that set up, and left. Then I come home, and there's a message on the machine asking for the postal code (lord knows why they need that) and confirmation of the delivery address. Incompetent. Way to make a good impression for your new store.

I've been pretty anxious lately, but I'm not sure why. It's like, unless I'm meditating, I'm tense. I was up for two hours last night too anxious to sleep, and the only way I could deal with it was to eat and pull out eyebrows and every little stub of an eyelash. Trichotillomania sucks. I almost want to give up on trying to stop myself from pulling. It's so difficult when I'm wound up like this. And it's not even like I'm worried about anything, or at least not to my detection. I will hopefully remember to discuss this with my psychiatrist on monday.

My aunt and uncle from a couple cities over came out to visit with us yesterday. It was really great to get together because despite living about an hour away, we don't see them nearly often enough! With any luck, my auntie and I will travel together in the coming months and I can swim with the dolphins, just like I always dreamed :) Maybe I'll get to ride on the beach too! I've only done it once, but my horse was too slow. He would barely trot, and didn't like stepping in water. What fun is that?
