Rabid Plotbunny for Adoption... Ignores 2:08
I had a "let's pretend 2:08 never happened lalalala" plotbunny spring into being the other night, and I since I write at a snail's pace, I wonder if anyone here would like to adopt it?
My idea was: Gene Hunt has an accident and winds up in 2006. While there he learns of Sam's accident ("Sam Tyler is in a coma - it was a hit and run") and becomes obsessed with the idea that his way home is by finding out who ran Sam down and why. He sets out to solve the mystery while struggling with a world full of PCs, PC, PC PCs using PCs - *G* - DVDs, mobile phones, ASBOS, hoodies, multiculturalism, the Gay Police Society, smoking bans and a DI who also happens to be a Paki bird...
