So, it's come to my attention that I've been rather lacking in the drabble department lately. Hopefully, this should fix it. =)

It hasn’t been one of McGee’s better days.
A power outage last night knocked out his alarm clock and he overslept, making him an hour late for work (a fact which Gibbs has not forgotten).
Somebody tried to hack NCIS today. He was able to foil them, but for a moment there it had been close. Even now, it leaves him doubting his skills.
He doesn’t have the background as an investigator that Tony or Gibbs do. Ziva, like him, is still learning - but some days, it feels as if he is picking it up more slowly than he should be. His strengths lie in his computer skills - he’s not quite sure where he would end up if they failed him.
The vending machine is out of his favourite chocolate bar. It’s a simple wish, he has - that the agency keeps the vending machine stocked with some sweet, sugary confections to get him through the long nights when he can’t catch a break long enough to grab a real meal. For a night like this.
Frustrated, he lets his head drop onto his desk and lets out a groan.
As if answering his prayers, a small thud sounds off to his right.
He looks up to see Abby give a small shrug. “Abby?”
“A sucky day deserves some chocolate..”
He looks over at the bar. Nougat.
Abby hates nougat. He, on the other hand - loves the stuff.
If this isn’t love, he doesn’t know what is.
