Calming down

Jun 15, 2011 23:40

Things have finally started to get a bit bearable. We ordered some Chnese a few hours ago, but S never really touched his. He ate some of the noodles, and then declared it ‘too blue-tasting,’ whatever the hell that means. He’s really bringing out the doctor in me, because whenever he does this, I can’t help but start to get worried. Maybe I’ll have ( Read more... )

I'm not new. Hurrah.

Paint them like how? Graffiti?

See you tomorrow as well?

You know those custom car paint jobs people do? A bit like that. Kind of. Not really. It's cool-looking, though.

And yep. Tomorrow is definitely on. But S and I have decided to be a couple of hermits and don't want to leave the house unless we have to.

Great!

I might be able to make the pub quiz on Friday. I'll see how S is tomorrow before making that decision.

Long as it doesn't have red in, we can probably get him to at least try.

Seriously, I'm thinking about looking into eating disorders this week at work. I don't know what else to do.

Angel hair with marinara sauce's right out for you then, try the beef stroganoff with cream sauce. Or the dozens of other dishes laying around, wtf Millie

Might be a good idea if he isn't eating

Oh god, no.

Mary brought over a cake yesterday that had strawberry jam in, and S gave her a look like she'd tried to poison him.

... I need to call her, actually. I was kind of a dick yesterday. :/

I hate to be obvious again, but - have you asked him about the food? You know, straight forwardly, when he's in what can be considered a tad bit better mood...

Some sort of synesthesia maybe? I have it with tones, and I hate saxophones, for example, because they are the nastiest shade of burnt orange imaginable IN MY EARS. (Colors don't flash in front of my eyes, sounds *are* colors. It's hard to explain.)

Although trying to explain synesthesia to someone without it often sounds to the explainee like the explainer is on drugs, and for the explainer it's like trying to explain purple to someone who's red-green colorblind and can't see it. I've done the latter, and it's one of the more exasperating things you can try to do.

Of course, this is all me jumping to conclusions about one sentence in your LJ entry, so it may be something completely different anyway.

It is rather. I mean, my own isn't that interesting to me, but I love hearing about other people's. Particularly letter-colors or number personalities. I don't have those and they're fascinating.

Me, I just occasionally get totally overwhelmed by the bright blue of an electric guitar solo. Also I have been known to make very inappropriate noises while listening to music, because, well, I get overwhelmed.
