See-More wasn't planning to get in trouble so quickly after leaving the hide-out. All he wanted to do was go to the nearby, ice cream shack and grab himself a twisty cone, even if it was cold out. Oh, there's some way. Namely if Terra can get a notification from the police in the Tower and make her way down to where she was told. Which was, of course, exactly what happened.

But when she saw just who she was supposed to be capturing, she laughed and sat down next to him. "So, you're the bad boy this time?" she asked with a smirk.

He perked out of his thoughts and nearly jumped at the laugh, but was a little relieved to see that it was Terra. Oh, good. It wasn't anyone like Starfire or Cyborg, but she could throw rocks at people... "Man, not even! It's, well. Okay, well, they saw me with the money and the jewelry and I did run away, but I was only trying to get my twisty cone!" he said, almost just about ready to flail at his explanation.

Just because she could throw rocks at people meant by no means that she would. Besides, he's See-More. "Aw, man, not your twisty cone. Well, I believe you. And if they find someone else's prints on that stuff, you should be fine. But I'll fight to keep you out of jail if they throw you in for this." "Yeah, and I was really looking forward to getting it," he said with a slight whine in his voice. And then he grinned, and sighed in a relief. "Thanks, Terra. I was afraid that I was gonna get dragged down and beaten by the police or something just for being there at the wrong time."

Terra had to giggle at that. "I'll buy you another one if it means that much to you." Cautiously, she put an arm around his shoulders. "This is Jump, See-More. You'll be okay. Long as the Titans are around, the HIVE isn't gonna get beaten up unless they have to be. And even then," she said with a wink, lowering her voice, "I'll go easy on you."

"Nah, it's all right. I wasn't even able to buy it because I didn't make it to the ice cream shack. I literally had a bag hand to me right when I was about to cross the street to there."

When her arm went around his shoulders, there was no doubt that the wink and the lower in her voice would make a few, very inappropriate thoughts come to mind. And See-More wasn't one to hold back, so. "Oh? Just how easy?"

He was perfectly aware that he was risking an ass kicking for that, but he doubted he'd get one -- right?

Her voice raised again; she hadn't meant for what she said to be suggestive, but she laughed still. "I'll paint pillows to look like rocks and throw those at you. What do you think I'd do?" She tossed her head back, laughing happily, before quietly returning to a softer voice. "But I will. I'll... try to keep you safe. I care about you. You know that."

He laughed along with her, and he still laughed a little lightly as she said her next words. Then, whoa, back to being serious. "Yeah, I know. And I, the same for you. You got my back and I got yours, Terra."

"Damn right," she said, chuckling a little before only slightly getting up. Maybe he'd get the hint and get up with her, especially with her arm around his shoulders. "Now, c'mon. Let's get some twisty cones. And maybe if you're lucky I can tell you just how easy I'd go on you." She meant that last part as a joke, of course. Mostly.

Whether she meant it as a joke or not, that got See-More right onto his feet, and an arm was around her in no time, as well. "Great! Sounds like a date. I mean, a plan. Or an outing. Or a get-together. Whatever you wanna call it."

Almost without meaning to, she squeezed his shoulder with her arms in a sort of sideways hug. "Let's call it a date. I like 'date'. But... let's not go back that way." What with the fuzz out for him and everything. "Mind if we fly? I know a great place."

"Hey, let's not go that far," she said with a laugh, pulling up a rock from the ground without actually having to remove anything from the sidewalk. Something she'd picked up from her power training, thanks to Wendel's birthday presents. Of course, she's silent for a little bit, and See-More might notice her arm temporarily going a little slack. But soon enough she's back to normal and talking again.

"I mean, you got framed for stealing diamonds, right? And they are a girl's best friend. You've got taste too." That's it. Another laugh, a joke, something to cover up the fact that now that she has new powers, she doesn't have complete control anymore.

He thought her new trick was pretty neat. See-More had only a few handful of times to see her use her powers, and it was indeed an impressive ability to him. And he grinned widely at what she said. "I'm not sure if I should feel flattered by having my tastes compared to a girl's or not, but hey, diamonds are good for attracting." Of course, he wasn't looking to attract anyone else.

Thank god he hadn't noticed. Or at least hadn't said anything. "I'm the least girly girl you'll ever know. I think we've been over that." She laughed again, feeling better already, and moved the rock closer to them. "So you really had your taste compared to another guy, and that's totally manly. C'mon," and she stepped up.

He didn't necessarily say anything, but he had noticed. But he figured that it wasn't anything too serious. After all, See-More lacked powers, aside from his helmet.

And he stepped up onto the rock with her, and he seemed to stand proudly when he made it to the rock. "Manly, eh? I'm definitely going back to the hideout and announce that. That'll show them," he said. Whether he's joking or not? Well, c'mon, See-More has his pride, too.
