Taban Macdougal had been in a nearby cafe at the time of the incident, sipping his mocha mocha, which was far below his standards, but the staff was attentive enough. He had been musing about the lack of action in this city famed for its budding superheroes and supervillains, yet nothing of terrific incidence had happened as he explored about. Today, was different, the mass pile-up had drawn his attention for a few short moments, and he calculated the pros and cons of aiding the people. Overall it would be too much effort, and hassle to deal with. Then a young girl wearing very punkish attire had come and began to systematically arrange the cars, moving them without even touching them, and had created a very neat orderly display, he had seen her before, apparently her power capacity was greater then initially projected.

He watched her throughout the entire incident, taking careful note how her graceful movements suggested a disciple of the martial art of Tai Chi. She seemed very proficent and in control with her powers, yet very uncomfortable when speaking with people. This was an excellent opportunity, that simply could not be passed up. Her powers could be of extreme use, and while her manner suggested that she was not one to use her powers for selfish desires, they could still be utilized as such, through subtler means.

Placing on his mirror shade glasses, and straightening his tie, he walked over to the girl, and the reporters who had begun to swamp her. He looked like a big Hollywood agent, fancy black suit, and silver tie, mirror shades, and a calm, confident air about him.

Stepping in front of Silvermane, he faced the crowd of reporters.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the press, my client is very tired from her good charitable work, and she does not feel up to answering your questions at this time," Taban said, speaking in a very strong, confident tone.

Silvermane stared at the young dark-haired man for a moment. He projected confidence, to be sure, but she had no idea who he was.

"Um...w-what are you doing?" she said quietly. Not that she minded having an excuse to flee from the reporters, but it was still dishonest and he was a stranger. "And...um...well...who a-are you?"

((OOC: Going to treat it as though Taban and Terra arrived at least 5 minutes apart so we can have some separate interaction first.))

He lifted his hands stopping questions, much the way a conducter stops an orchestra. He turned to her and whispered.

"I'm simply helping out a beautiful young lady, as every gentleman should." Taban replied silkily making sure that he was speaking only to her. He gave her a sly smile before turning back to the reporters.

A few reporters attempted to get Silvermane to talk again, and attempted addressing questions, but Taban calmly answered all questions in a very reasonable manner, explaining what had happened, and asking that they respect his client's privacy, as a common courtesy, and that further pestering would in fact result in legal action in the form of harrassment.

Well, Silvermane had less of a problem with being passively dishonest rather than outright lying herself. She smiled a bit at the 'beautiful young lady' comment. Compliments were nice, even if there already was a person she was interested in.

"Y-you're really good at this," she whispered to him after a moment. "Are you in l-law school or something?"

He looked way too young to be a lawyer, but he was putting on a very convincing act.

After allowing the press a few very brief pictures, Taban noticed a few police officers simply looking on stunned at what had just happened. He quickly called them over, and politely but aggressively asked them to help with crowd control, which they did. He had grown tired of the endless blabberings of the daily news folks, and had enough.

"I'm afraid my client will have to leave you now, urgent business to attend to, farewell." he said very briskly, and with that walked calmly over to Silvermane standing a little way away from the crowd.

"To answer your question, m'dear, no I'm not in law school, though I imagine I could easily get in, I'm merely a friendly gentleman who haped upon your predecement and decided to help." he said his voice full of charm, with a slight smile on his face.

"Oh. Well t-that was really nice of you," she said softly. "I um...well...don't like crowds much."

Inclining her head, she added, "M-my name is Silvermane."

He smiled at her gently, and bowed to her. "A pleasure to meet you, Silvermane, my name is Archon, just think of me as the guardian of the guardians." he said smoothly.

He had established himself as a gentleman, and had aided her, so as a result she would come to think of him as slightly higher than a stranger, not a friend, but a friendly aquiantance.

Just then a call came through on his cellphone, after politely excusing himself he addressed the caller. It was one of his contacts within the Irish Mafia, though Taban talked as though he was talking with an old friend. The job had been successful, and they had stolen a large shipment of Titanium alloy, a useful metal for reinforcing building.

"Yes, Oliver that is great news, bring over two bottles of whisky and we'll have a great time." Taban said, his words concealing the shipment of Titanium he required for his project.

Walking back to where Silvermane once stood, he paused a moment then looked over finding her with her friend, a Teen Titan.

((We can move it on from here and have Taban/Terra/Silvermane interact, if everyone wants?))
