I have only went abroad for work and on field trips so I'm not very knowledgeable about this, but it's very interesting to see that Asia has so many languages. China has Hanzi, Korea has Hangeul, and India ... well, I don't know what it's called (laughs), but they have their own unique alphabet as well. On another note, it's really tough to study the language of these places. I'm learning Chinese at university right now. I thought that it would be of use when we go on our Asia tour, but they spoke Cantonese in Hong Kong so I didn't really get to convey what I wanted to say.
If I were to go to a trip to another Asian country, it would be Malaysia! I watched something on TV recently and I saw a place where you could watch the animals in the jungle, and I heard that you could go on a night safari there. There were also caves and it looks like you could encounter really huge lizards there as well. I'm not good with reptiles but "adventure = that particular country's earnestness", so it looks like it would be fun! If I were to go to a city-like place then it would be Singapore. I heard that that country is almost only the same size as Tokyo's 23 wards. It's smaller than I thought but it's really amazing how famous it is. Oh and the Merlion seems like it would be small too. Well, hearing these rumors makes me want to go there and see for myself!

When I was in high school, the family of my best friend was in the Philippines and they invited me to go there, so I decided to go on January this year. It was mid-winter here in Japan, but over there it was about 30'C and you could go to the beach whenever you want. Okay so I played around and stuff and I was able to make about 20 friends. (laughs) There were really high aparments and buildings so it didn't differ from Tokyo at all. The food was really good too and I thought, "I want to live here". However, the cars went by really fast. It seemed like everyone was in a rush so people were really persistent when it came to lane-changing. Even if I moved there, I don't think I'd ever be able to drive.
I like Asian spas so I've been to a lot of shops. But I don't like the feeling of getting hurt so I'm always like "please be more gentle". Last time I went to this Chinese-styled massage place that (Takaki) Yuuya introduced me to and as soon as I lied on my stomach, I was already in a lot of pain. I was like "what?" and turned around and saw the massager go on top of me and he/she started stepping on me. Then he/she was on all fours and started hitting on the insteps of my feet. I was worried and thought "eh, is this what it's supposed to be like?" It's like Yuuya knew of all of this and suggested it to me. I was really shocked!!
