Ryutaro - Myojo 6/2011

Apr 23, 2011 02:56

I think it was around the other year when the other members of JUMP kept on picking on me. For example, Takaki-kun or someone would get mad at me like "Hey Ryutaro, do this seriously!" right when we're having lessons. During those times I thought "I'm really hated by everyone. I'm alone in this." It seems like every single day I felt down and there were also times when I didn't want to go out of the house. I complained to my parents saying "I can't take this anymore." I quickly became negative. But one day, I noticed that everyone was smiling. And when I saw those faces I thought, maybe I'm not hated after all? [And also] "they're just trying to mingle with me more and be friends." So after that, I eventually reached the point of being able to think positively, regardless of things. I didn't feel so sad anymore. When I look at my companion's facial expression, I can understand what that person is thinking of.

My favorite phrase is "nori"*. Whatever the situation is, I think that I can overcome it with motivation. For example, there's an upcoming test. I'm not very good at studying so I can't really feel inclined on doing so. During those times I look at things in a positive way [and think]  "Ma, with motivation, things will turn out fine!" When I ask for no wasabi at the sushi shop and they make a mistake and still do, I take it in while thinking "I'm just gonna go eat this with motivation!" Even if I get hit during grass-lot baseball, I change my feelings thinking "Ma, things will work out somehow with enthusiasm, right?" Moreover, when you use it to replace the word "fight", don't you feel like you can become more positive? The power will come seeping!

*Note : "nori" (slang) - mood, feeling, enthusiastic feeling, motivation, etc. Its meaning depends on how it is used.
