Duet April 2010 -  Hikaru’s room PikaRoom
Yaotome Hikaru

A place to interact with the readers, “Hikaru’s room” is now OPEN! Won’t you come by with your worries or things you want to talk about? Member’s Morimoto came to talk about his problem this month!

This month’s person with concerns Morimoto Ryutaro/Kanagawa-ken

(Problem Number 1)
I’m currently playing sandlot baseball but it seems like I’m not getting better at fielding at all. What do you think I need to do to get better?

(Hikaru’s Advice)
How should I know stupid!… you thought I would say that right? I won’t (laughs). Do you know “Dance Bannousetsu [Dance almighty tale]”? You start dancing by following other’s dancing as an example right? That’s why dancers are good visual learners. They move around a lot too. Ryutaro, you should pay attention to each player’s moves instead of watching it for the game. The moment they catch a ball is like dancing, you learn it by watching. If that doesn’t work, you should ask teachers or person with experiences, their opinions. I think it’s important to try it out for yourself first. That’s what I do with everything. A recent example would be when we had to get manicure on our index finger for Hitomi no Screen. I couldn’t paint it at all on my own first but after watching staffs painting the member’s nails, I got the hang of it. I’m so good at it now that I even do Inoo’s nails you know (laughs).

(Problem Number 2)
I’m having problems setting my hair. Even at the shoot today, I couldn’t decide whether I should show my ears or not. Please give me advice on hair!

(Hikaru’s Advice)
I think a daring mind is important for hairstyles as well. I was afraid of changing my hair style at first too. I learned what suits me and what doesn’t when I tried curling, pinning up my bangs, and straightening my hair.  But you know, who cares if duet released with the haircut you didn’t like! The fans will think “ah, I guess he’s trying to growing up right now” for sure, maybe. Let’s show them your growing stages? At the end, I’ll come up with Ryutaro’s haircut. First, I’m going to make sure not even a strand of hair covers your eyes. Even if you don’t have the skills to dance, powerful eyes are important because you still look like a good dancer with lively eyes. It’s too good to waste not showing them.
