Okamoto Keito
●I usually wake up 15 minutes before I get out of the house and we’re always on a rush. I was able to wake up early today so I got to take a morning shower. It felt so good, is what I want to talk about but I realized I got water in my ears when I got out. You know how it feels right!? That weird feeling when you have water in your ears. That! I’m still like that too. The water doesn’t come out even if I shake my head. That’s why I’m feeling a little down (dry laugh) I thought good things happen when you wake up early.
●Remember I said “I don’t like mushrooms” in last month’s duet? I had a Hyakushiki shoot right after that. With the theme “mushroom” (laughs). They made me eat mushrooms in the studio and on location. Ah but the eringi that I ate at the eringi production factory was really good. But I didn’t like the one in the studio. Since shiitake expert went through all the trouble of coming, I did my best to take a bite but I’ve had all I can take. After the recording, the expert was yelling “who left this!?” but I hid behind (Yamashita) Shoon kun who was next to me (laughs).
Yaotome Hikaru
●Adding to Instruments, billiard, and skateboard, I think I have a new hobby on the list. It’s surfing! I tried it for the first time in my life on the set of “Shuumatsu YY JUMPing” I cast with Yabu and I was even surprised myself how easily I surfed. I can’t swim so I was nervous and scared of the ocean at first but when I gathered my courage, it was a success. I was convinced “it’s not possible for me!” so I was moved to tears when I surfed. I can’t get the floating feeling of riding the wave out of me. I heard surfing is all season so I want to ride waves all around the world! I thought of buying a surf board but it’s about the same price as the bass I want right now. I’m happy my hobby is expanding but inverse proportion to that, my wallet keeps shrinking (laughs).
●I sometimes have time between work so I went to go see a movie alone for the first time the other day. I was a bit lonely until it started but I got into the world of movies more than usual. Since then, I’ve hooked on “alone movies” (laughs). It’s been few days of starting to feel “I actually really like movies…”days.
Yamada Ryosuke
●I went to the town I used to live with my family. The air was so clean! It’s hard to realize how your home feels when you’re living there. I just thought it was a rural area surrounded by mountains (laughs). I met up with my old friend and went out to eat sushi. On the way home, there was a festival going on. It was pretty big scaled festival with tons of people but we wanted to play a little. With leaving my dad in the car, my sisters, my mom, and I went to goldfish scooping♪Fished 0… Thanks to the guy in the booth, he gave us 2 fishes (laughs). I thought I could scoop up 10 easily.
●Then, we bought fish tank to keep those goldfish in. We named them too. Gonzo and Take chan. But sadly, Gonzo had to go up in the heaven so soon (tears). Since Take chan seemed lonely, we bought him friends. In total, there’s 8 swimming lively. That reminds me, when we went to go buy gold fish, there was a lot of piranha and deep-sea fish types swimming in the other tank. They seem scary at first but they’re really cool. I thought … it’ll suit a guys living alone. Hmm, must be guy fantasy ♪
Arioka Daiki
●When I think about how I only have few month of high school life, every day becomes important and I just can’t help but to enjoy school right now. But I still can’t feel graduation will happen. Lately, I’m mostly dancing with my friends from school. We play our favorite music or music with good beats and dance freely as much as we want or dance together with moves. We always dance with 5 to 6 people and everyone besides me, are in the same dance group. They’re usually better than me and I sometime get captivated by them but that makes me want to try harder with them as my teacher. I like dancing in front of everyone during concerts but its fun to dance as a hobby too.
●I’m recently into table tennis (laughs). There’s a table tennis place in downtown where this old traditional atmosphere is overflowing. The old lady at the counter lends you the rackets and she yells “it’s been 30 minutes now~” when time comes so I’d ask her “let me play for a little more!” (laughs). Skateboarding is still ongoing but I’m currently in a stage where I want to try new things and increase my hobbies. Also, I can sleep with no trouble but I’m hooked on listening to “CD to easily fall asleep” while I go to bed (laughs). When I listen to wave sounds in a pitch black room, it feels like as if I’m another world.
Morimoto Ryutaro
●At the end of September, Shintaro and I went to Chiba Marine Stadium for the opening ceremony for Chiba Lotte vs Orix game. But actually, Shintaro was the one who threw the ball. I practiced until the actual day because I was looking forward to throw so I was really disappointed when I heard “only one person can throw”. But many good things happened that day too. First, I met my favorite Chiba Lotte player Omatsu Shoitsu and Nishioka Tsuyoshi and go their signs! On top of getting pictures together, Omatsu player even said “with me? I’m honored” isn’t that amazing? Also, Orix player’s Kitagawa Hirotoshi gave me signed batting glove♪I’m just so happy! Maybe I’ll make opening ceremony for 12 baseball teams in the future (laughs)
●My Chii (←pet dog) lost weight getting worn out from the summer heat so we kept feeding him a lot. That’s why he’s getting a bit chubby lately. I think we just have to walk him more but Shintaro, who’s in charge of walking the dog isn’t doing a good job. Ah, I also have to teach Chii how to stop chewing on socks. It was like a battle today because he tried to chew on it when I was putting my socks on.
Yabu Kota
●I think I suck at using my day off effectively in out of all JUMP. I wake up and think “what should I do~” and end up 90% of the time going out with my local friends. We don’t even do anything, just mostly talk at home. But that’s totally fine with. I don’t like barely making plans. Ah, but I went to a game center after long time. I used to be bad at catching stuffed animals but I got it on my first try and another one in a row. I thought “YESS♪” but I kept it cool like “of course I’m good at it” in front of my friends (laughs).
●New show “Shumatsu YY JUMPing” locations are always fun. First was camping and I enjoyed fishing and barbequing to the full. Hoe-buta [type of expensive pork] was really good. I can’t eat regular pork anymore. I went to a surfing location too. It was my first time surfing and the first time going into the ocean this year. I was able to stand and ride from start but I didn’t get better from there. Then, Hikaru couldn’t do anything at first but his progress is unbelievably fast that he got better than me in the end (laughs). Hikaru and I talked about how we should do it again so I might get hooked on this.
Takaki Yuya
●Lately, I’m into getting together with my friends and tape each other with camcorders. We mimic some TV show’s going on location when we go on vacations or in the neighborhood. But the thing we do the most is an etude, ad-lib battle. We pretend to fight and it’s just stupid little plays (laughs). Whenever someone starts taping, everyone starts acting on their own. When I told this to my senpai he said “ah, I used to do that too” so I think it’s something everyone does. By taping my friend’s different sides, I think it’d be interesting if I play this on their wedding ceremonies (laughs). “We were such retards back then” and have a good laugh about it maybe?
●I was with my friends the other day and I really wanted to go for a drive so we went to Yokohama Chinatown. First, we went into a fine-looking big restaurant in the Chinatown and ordered shark fin, shoronpo, fried rice, peking roasted duck, and pepper steak. They were all delicious. Everyone had pretty big appetite that we bought nikuman afterwards and ate while we walked around. Then, we went to Oosanbashi but it was mostly couples there so we ended up staying in the car (laughs).
Nakajima Yuto
●After my Tamu (←pet dog) passed his 1 year old birthday, I feel like he’s got old all the sudden. Up until now, he would come by like “play with me!” when I sat on the sofa. Lately, he’s sound asleep next to me. Really, all he does is sleep. He’s usually curled up in the sweats I left on the floor. That’s cute but I’m starting to feel bad for him. I’m absorbed into playing the drum with less time playing with him and maybe he’s bored too. That’s why I’m thinking of taking over the walk I usually leave my parents with. Also, if Tamu doesn’t get scared of the drums I could take him into my room too. Tamu’s name is taken from tamu [tom] of the drum set so I hope I can enjoy drums with him.
●It’s not that I’m collecting sneakers but it’s starting to built up because I like them. I was surprised when counted them the other day and had 35 pairs! I can’t keep them by the front door so I keep them in my room but it’s about the limit now? (laughs) There’re collaboration with famous foreign designers and vintage ones, I have tons. I want to line all them up and take a picture.
Chinen Yuri
●I’m addicted to the online action game I play with my friends from school. Of course I have days when I go outside to play but whenever “what do you want to do today?” comes up, I go to my friends house and end up playing games (laughs). Yeah I want to go to theme parks or on a vacation but with my allowance money, it’s still a bit hard… Maybe I’ll help my mom and ask her to raise my allowance♪… not possible. I hate washing dishes and cleaning. Feels like I won’t be able to live on my own? I can. I sometimes ask neatfreak Keito “come play♪” to my house. Then, he’ll probably say “you’re room is too messy” and clean my room ♥
●School’s field day is almost here. I’m going to be in the centipede race. 5 people line up and tie a rope around thier feet and run. My teacher was at the head, Yuto kun and Yama chan behind me. So dependable right? It was between grades so we were against Dai chan! We had a rehearsal but 3rd year’s spirit was amazing. I felt the history of their 3 years in the centipede race. The result will be on next month, I’ll tell you if I remember (laughs).
Inoo Kei
●A while back, my friends and I went to a hot-spring institution kind of place, is it called spas? I went there. I was asked to go on a roller coaster in the amusement park that’s build next to it but I didn’t want to go on it so to make worth of the time I said “hey, there’s hot-springs here. Let’s go to that” and dodged the plan (laughs). It felt really good. They had 6 different types of baths and ganban yoku [hot stone spa] too. It was my first time in ganban yoku but I sweat a lot so I felt it was very good for my body. Having massage done and eating a meal, I was there for 5 hours. I was planning on going home after but they didn’t let me so I had to go on the scariest roller coaster there!! Surprisingly, it wasn’t scary because the cool air felt good after taking a bath (laughs).
●I have nothing to do on days when I don’t have school and when I feel the need to do something, I go to hair salons most of the time(laughs). I get hair treatments and head massages because it feels good. That ganban yoku too, it’s fun to do things that’s good for your body. Maybe we’ll go get massages with everyone [JUMP] after a concert one day.
