・Summer is disappointing because I can’t do my favorite, snowboarding. I can play in the ocean during summer but it’s not for me. You swim in the same space as the fishes so playing in that seems scary… Some type of living thing touching me is definitely not okay (tears). But I do like summer in gerneral because I can plan going to movies, pools, shopping, and hanging out as much as I can♪Feeling everyday like a Sunday makes me speechless. Although… there are schools closed because of the swine flu, summer is a week shorter. Swine … swine, you idiots!
・For a person who’s not a morning person, summer break is like a heaven. I can sleep-in till noon so waking up feels awesome. People ask me “don’t you get hungry?” a lot but I don’t usually eat breakfast so it’s not a problem for me♪

・I sweat, extremely a lot. That’s why I sleep in just my underwear to be cool as possible during summer but, there’s not much of an effect. I wake up drenched in sweat every morning. But the shower from that feels really good! I start with warm water and gradually add in the cold. It feels like I’m in the pool so its fun♪
・I like basking in the summer sun. I get out on the balcony or in front of my house in the noon during summer and just space out without thinking about anything. Without moving an inch, I go back inside when I start sweating. My limit is about 3 minutes (laughs). It’s good because my body feels refreshed after. From my neighbor’s views, I bet they would be like “what that heck is that person doing” if they saw me doing that…

・I would complain “I hate this season because I sweat a lot” right now but I used to love summer when I was in elementary school. There was a public pool next to my school I used to go to everyday. That’s because I got to see my friends if I go there♪ After the pool, we would buy fried chickens or ice creams to eat and play baseball till dawn… We were free (from everything) everyday ~ (looks far off). I guess feeling so open like that is the good thing about summer!
・Talking about summer, its making me want to go to the beach with my friends. If it comes true, I want to swim basking in the gleaming sun in the broad daylight! Making sandcastles on the beach! Then, stuff ourselves with carbonated juices and shaved ice at the seaside restaurant. We would be in bathing suit so it’s all right if we spill a little. I’m going to enjoy in my dynamic summer full of freedom!

・Summer is full of heart racing moments! For example, the fireworks. Pinwheel fireworks that you can’t predict where it goes or the moment the tip falls off of the sparklers. Fireworks are heart racing items. Pools too, I can feel my heart beat the moment my whole body goes into the water. Also, the bugs. Aren’t the insects in this season huge? I was walking outside today and I almost stepped on a humongous moth that was on the road today and I was scared. I don’t like insects so I guess my heart will be racing all summer … (sweat).
・The tag I play uses the whole neighborhood so it takes a heck of a long time for it to end. If I get tanned and goes on MYOJO, people won’t be able to recognize who I am. But… in the end, I feel like I am going to play (tag).
Fujii Ryusei
・When I was little, I seriously thought a super enormous cooler would cool the whole world. I hated being scorching hot but I recently realized how good the cool breeze feels in the summer nights. The vibe is good too. The night sky is beautiful, there are festivals, and you can play with fireworks too. Last year, I played with fireworks with my friends about five times. It was fun playing with different kinds of fireworks.
・After walking outside, I feel a little happiness the moment I open the door to some store and covered with cool air. So I would rather spend time inside than walking around outside during noontime. A place I want to go lately is the bowling alley. By the way, my average score is 130. But it’s near 30 when I’m in bad luck (bitter laughs).

・Every time I see a girl wearing yukata at summer festivals, I feel how great yukatas are. Because they casts a spell on all the girls to look cute. I have yet to see a girl who doesn’t look good in a yukata. I respect the person who came up with yukatas.
・I like the latter half of August, the summer night nearing autumn. I start to hear crickets, it’s so graceful♪ Well, I do hear my mom shouting with the sounds of the insects… There are more cockroaches in the summer so my mom screams a lot. Every time that happens, I have to go get rid of the cockroaches so to be honest, it’s not graceful at all (bitter laughs). By the way, kitchen soaps work better with cockroaches. They stop moving right away and it’s safer than poison.
