In this month interview, we bring you what they’ve been up to lately.
Fujii Ryusei
I guess I hang out with my high school friends lately. By hanging out, I mean just walk around (laughs). Ah, but that made me closer to the senpais at school. When I was walking around by the station, the senpai seemed to know who I was and talked to me. Then, as we kept talking, we started getting along. We went to many shops and I became friends with the person working at those stores too. That’s only because the person working there is good friends with my senpai. After saying good bye to my senpai, I went to a restaurant and my senpai from middle school was working there. I didn’t him notice at first but he said we went to same middle school. I made many friends and had many encounters that day.
Kotaki Nozomu
I have a game I’m hooked on lately. It’s a game where you take care and collect characters and it’s something I played about two years ago. When I played it after a long time, it was so much fun. The reason I stopped playing 2 years ago is because I got bored with it but I think I’ll play it for about one more month. It’s impossible to catch all the remaining character in just a month so this is probably where I get sick of it halfway (laughs). It’s not that I get easily tired of stuff. I sometimes continue things for a long time too, like collecting anime figures. I’ve been doing this for three to four years. I have figures nicely displayed in my room and I look at it once in a while. Thinking “it’s so cool, I want to be like that”. I want to become a super sayian [from dragon ball]. Why can’t I do a kamehameha.
Shigeoka Daiki
I was able to be in KAT-TUN concert in Kyocera dome and it was amazing! The set, performance, and KAT-TUN too. What left me the most impression in the performance is the water works. The special effects were awesome too. Fireworks came out right near us. I thought my ears were going to burst but I had to put up with it because I was posing. But I heard Senzaki kun covered his ears (laughs). That could have been Senzaki kun’s pose? No, he obviously covered his ears in the middle (laughs). What I thought of dome is that there’re so many people! Even if I remember all my dance moves, the huge number of people makes me nervous. On top of that, everything is enormous. You know how we have to run around the outer runway once. It’s really exhausting. I’m all smiles but my heart is pounding.
Shingaki Yuto
I had a field day and did centipede race. All the class had to participate it and had to go against other 2nd years. It’s the hard one. We had to run 150m with about 20 people tied together. Practiced everyday for it but we got 2nd place. I guess messing up at the start is the reason why. All the class had to line up at the start so other class’s call got mixed up with ours and we tripped. The first class to start got the first place in the end. Our class got really close to the first class where we had pretty distance to them so in terms of speed, I think we were number one. You have to line up according to height for centipede race so, I was 2nd or 3rd from the front. The people at the front have hard time because they get pulled by the people behind. That’s why my shoulders hurt more than my scrapped leg.
Kamiyama Tomohiro
I haven’t done anything new lately. I haven’t gone anywhere and I don’t have anything I’m hooked on… I play my guitar only when I’m bored. I received a guitar from someone and started playing it just for fun. I was in 6th grade or 1st year of middle school. Then, I started playing seriously in fall of my 3rd year in middle school. I think I improved since then. There are more songs I can play but I still have some cords I have hard time holding. When there’s a cord like that in a song, the song skips in the middle (laughs). I started writing songs too but it’s hard. I can make up a melody but it’s not exactly what I want. Whenever I think its good and play it, something isn’t right. I still don’t have a descent song because I keep doing that.
Takemoto Shinpei
I’ve been going to my friends house everyday now. I’d play with my friend and his brother or call other friends and play. But there are times when we don’t do anything. That friend is my childhood friend. That’s why we can just not do anything and be with each other. It was his birthday the other day. You don’t get much allowance in middle school so I didn’t do much then, but I treated him a meal this year. We went to go eat yakiniku together. I wonder what he’ll do on my birthday (laughs). But he recently got a girlfriend so he’s on dates and not home sometimes. I still stay there though. That’s only because I’m good friends with his brother and I know his family well.
Nakayama Yuma
When I met Matchy san at introduction meeting for the drama “vampire~”, I was so nervous~. I went to his dressing room alone to greet him and that’s when I felt “so this is what the star aura” is. But he talked to me nicely like “how is it? is it hard?” and I was touched by his kindness! This drama filming is very cheerful. Shintaro’s energy is all around the place… it’s rather loud though (laughs). I had been filming outside so far but I get to film in the studio for the first time tomorrow. I’m excited how it’s like. The staff told me “omurice at the studio is really good” so as a omurice lover, that’s another thing I’m secretly awaiting (laughs).
