Q. How long does it take you to wake up and get out of the house?
A. It’ll take me about an hour. That’s because I need 30 minutes to get up (laughs).
Q. How many points do you think is your MC skills?
A. This is zero. I don’t talk at all~ but I am doing my best.
Q. How many people can you call as your best friend?
A. Two. I can talk about anything to these two and I don’t mind at all when we don’t talk when we’re together.
Q. How many bowls of rice can you eat, if you were to give it your all?
A. I think 2 bowls are my limit. I think I can go far with yakiniku but, I’d rather fill my stomach with yakiniku. If this was sushi, I think I can eat a lot too. When it comes to just white rice, I can’t a whole lot.
Q. How many times did you cry this year?
A. I’ve about 10 times now. I just cry right away with novels and touching movies.
Q. How many girls have you liked so far?
A. I think over 10 within just elementary school. Now, only the personality is important but I used instantly like someone if I thought they were cute or nice (laughs).
Q. How many lessons have you taken so far?
A. Abacus, basketball, judo, penmanship… four!
Q. How much kg do you need to gain be weight before seriously dieting?
A. Maybe 10kg. I’m 56kg right now so I want to be 60kg gaining 4kg.
Q. How much have you spent the most at a convenience store?
A. I went to a convenience store with bunch of my friends and when I paid for everything, it was around 20 hundred yen ($200). Everyone kept throwing unnecessary things in the basket, like a whole manga series (laughs). Of course we split the bill after.
Q. How old is your ideal marriageable age?
A. 24
Q. What day was your audition day?
A. June 14th, 2004. If I’m not mistaken, M.A.D’s Maeda is the same as me.
Q. How many cell phones have you had so far?
A. This is about the 8th one so far. The one I’m using right now is white!
Q. How many times have you had a serious fight before?
A. I was a mischievous boy when I was little so I had a lot. I was hot tempered too and I couldn’t even forgive someone for whispering. But now, I don’t get into a real fight. If I do get into fights, they’re only verbally.
Q. What’s something that you think will be fun for all 10 to do?
A. Bowling!
Inoo Kei
Q. How long does it take you to wake up and get out of the house?
A. Ideally, 10 minutes. Realistically, 20 to 30 minutes. It’s just that, I’m confused on what I should do next right when I wake up (laughs)
Q. How many points do you think is your MC skills?
A. Depends on the day. 75 points on my good days, 0 points on the bad days. I want to work hard to get an average of 65 points.
Q. How many people can you call as your best friend?
A. I have several friends but only one that I can call my best friend. We were friends since 5th grade.
Q. How many bowls of rice can you eat, if you were to give it your all?
A. About four bowls. I feel like I can go on forever if I had curry, I love curry. I especially like homemade-like curry with big chunks of potatoes and meat.
Q. How many times did you cry this year?
A. I probably haven’t cried. If I did, then that’s maybe once. I have a feeling I cried watching a heart-touching movie. I used to be a cry baby when I was little and I used to cry all the time. Of course, I don’t cry after, getting in trouble with my parents now(laughs).
Q. How many girls have you liked so far?
A. 246 (laughs). Honestly, I don’t think I have ever seriously liked someone yet. I have thought a girl might be “cute” or “good” but that’s different to liking someone, right?
Q. How many lessons have you taken so far?
A. Four. Penmanship, swimming, piano, cram school… I think piano lasted the longest out of these. I started taking lessons once I got into elementary school and continued until I graduated. Calligraphy lasted pretty long too but I never improved (laughs). For swimming, I learned how to swim but it was to a point of a average speed.
Q. How much kg do you need to gain be weight before seriously dieting?
A. Somewhat 10kg.
Q. How much have you spent the most at a convenience store?
A. About 3000 yen ($30). I had a day when I just craved snacks all the sudden. I remember the total came this high because I bought udon and drinks in addition to snacks.

A. 30

A. I don’t remember but it was probably the same day as Yabu. Ask Yabu (laughs).
Q. How many cell phones have you had so far?
A. 6! I bought it out of urge and to be honest, I don’t really like it.
Q. How many times have you had a serious fight before?
A. About 5 to 6 times. Mostly when I was in elementary school.
Q. What’s something that you think will be fun for all 10 to do?
A. Snowboarding! It’s rumored that I just personally want to (laughs).
Yaotome Hikaru
Q. How long does it take you to wake up and get out of the house?
A. Around 20 minutes. I think fixing my bed head takes the longest.
Q. How many points do you think is your MC skills?
A. 100 points! It’s not because I “said a good thing” it’s because I have fun every time. The most important thing is if you had fun, right?
Q. How many people can you call as your best friend?
A. 6 people.
Q. How many bowls of rice can you eat, if you were to give it your all?
A. 2 bowls. (“Hikaru doesn’t eat much” says Yabu) Exactly (“On top of that, he takes time when he eats” says Inoo) Exactly…. Hey, why do you two know so much about me? (laughs). (Yabu “Inoo, what do you know about Hikaru!” Inoo “Just to be clear, I know more far and deep about Hikaru than you!”) Wait wait, you two! (Happily) Don’t fight over me~. Ah by the way, the fortune telling I did the other day told me I was most compatible with Keito out of all the members.

A. Zero! (Yabu “I’ve seen Hikaru cry! They are really fresh tears with no zero salt content” Inoo “I haven’t but… I don’t want to see such a heartbreaking Hikaru!”) Hey, what’s with these comments (laughs)?
Q. How many girls have you liked so far?
A. About 6. Most of girls I like transfers to another school.
Q. How many lessons have you taken so far?
A. Kanji and science that a neighborhood lady taught me and back flip that my friend’s gym teacher taught me.

A. I think it’ll be hard for me to move if I gain 70kg so 18kg more.

A. December 2nd, 2003. I’m mostly the same time with Tamamori and Tegoshi.

A. This is the 8th and its black. The cell phones I choose are mostly black.
Q. How many times have you had a serious fight before?
A. Countless times. I haven’t lately but when I was a junior, I had fights with Dai chan and Senga. The fights with Senga started out with “who’s the strongest” …. In another words, they were elementary level fights (laughs).
Q. What’s something that you think will be fun for all 10 to do?
A. Charter a big fishing boat and go fishing with everyone! … ah I forgot, Keito didn’t like fish (laughs).

Q. How long does it take you to wake up and get out of the house?
A. This depends on the night before the day and changes between school and work. If I give my all, in 10 minutes!
Q. How many points do you think is your MC skills?
A. 50 points. When I do my best to take part, I can talk a lot or take part by listening to others.
Q. How many people can you call as your best friend?
A. Two, one is a classmate from my middle school and when I couldn’t go to school, he/she would mail me the things I needed for next day. I haven’t met him/her lately. I still remember the home phone and I still think him/her as my best friend.
Q. How many bowls of rice can you eat, if you were to give it your all?
A. About 3 bowls. I’m one of those people who want to eat more side dish than rice.
Q. How many times did you cry this year?
A. About 3 times. Sometimes, I really feel like crying and I purposely buy “tear jerking movies” to cry.

A. About 5. There was a girl in elementary school that I liked but the date was at an anime movie with parental supervision.

A. Four. Pool, gymnastics, soccer…. and Sakurai san. Sakurai san is the name of my cram school teacher and I used to refer to it as “I’m going to Sakurai san today!” (laughs).
Q. How much kg do you need to gain be weight before seriously dieting?
A. Instead of a number, it’s more of “if my face gets round”. I don’t keep in track with my weight but I’m a type of person who gets on their face first.

A. About 1000 yen ($10). I buy drinks most of the time but I also buy stationery like glue and notebooks.

A. About 35, image wise.

A. It’s the same day as Chinen… maybe June 2nd, 2004.
Q. How many cell phones have you had so far?
A. This is the 6th. It’s black and it’s the same one as Hikaru kun. (“Dai chan always copies me!” says Hikaru) Hikaru usually buys things I want first. We once bought the same T shirt and a varsity jacket.
Q. How many times have you had a serious fight before?
A. I’ve never seriously but I have little fights all the time. I think I’ve (fought) with most of the JUMP members.
Q. What’s something that you think will be fun for all 10 to do?
A. Dodge ball. If we did a legit match with no slack, it’ll definitely be serious.

Q. How long does it take you to wake up and get out of the house?
A. 30 minutes. The shortest by far in record is 2 minutes (laughs). I came from school once and fell asleep and it was passed the time I was supposed to leave when I woke up.
Q. How many points do you think is your MC skills?
A. 39 points. Even if it goes smoothly, my mind fills up with the bad like “but that part wasn’t good” I feel like I always get bad grades.
Q. How many people can you call as your best friend?
A. About 7 people. They’re mostly guys who’re from home.
Q. How many bowls of rice can you eat, if you were to give it your all?
A. 4 bowls. I’m not a “seconds person” I’m a “large helping person” That’s why I don’t ask for seconds at home or outside that often.
Q. How many times did you cry this year?
A. I think it’s about 20 times. (“Eh? Really!?” members surprised) I cry in my dreams a lot. Tears from being touched by saving a friend’s life and such (laughs) I even thought “I can seriously be a scriptwriter” from such a heart touching work when I woke up (laughs).
Q. How many girls have you liked so far?
A. 5~6 girls. The girl I liked in kindergarten was bigger than I was back then. She was more of “beautiful lady” already with her age rather than cute.
Q. How many lessons have you taken so far?
A. Piano, electronic organ, soccer, these three!
Q. How much kg do you need to gain be weight before seriously dieting?
A. Average weight is 72kg for my height but if I actually pass 70, it’ll be hard for me to move. That’s why 17kg more!
Q. How much have you spent the most at a convenience store?
A. About 5000 yen ($50). I bought a DVD at that time. I usually buy juice, gum, small mints with not even going over 500 yen ($5).
Q. How old is your ideal marriageable age?
A. This changes a lot. I wanted to be a young dad for a while but when I slowly got near that age, it’s unlikely now (laughs). Right now, it’s later half of 30s.
Q. What day was your audition day?
A. September 23rd or 24th of 2001. The same time around They Budo’s Yamamoto Ryota, Eda chan, and Inoo chan.

A. This is the 5th one. I can break them easily but I try to hold on to it from there.
Q. How many times have you had a serious fight before?
A. Probably zero. I have fought with Hikaru but they were just grabbing each other by the collar or throwing each other around. They were never serious.
Q. What’s something that you think will be fun for all 10 to do?
A. Onigokko (hide-and-seek) in a department or a mansion! Who’d be great at hiding? Maybe Inoo chan. I bet he’ll shut down his aura and casually look around TVs in the home electronics floor (laughs).
