Potato March 2009 - Chattering Time
Uekusa Yuta x Kyomoto Taiga
This month’s theme is “chattering time”. They both use cell phones rather than home phone, on top of that they usually mails instead of calling. Also, we had them leave a message to someone they are thinking of and/or friends at the end!

I use emoji all the time! It gives off a cheerful vibe
I use my cell phone a lot. “Yo! How’s it going!?” like that (laughs). Just kidding! I only call for work or in case of emergency. I talk to my manger over the phone most of the time but I also call and tell my mom “I’m coming home now” after work. If you ask me, I use mails more. I use emoji all the time! I use smiley the most! Don’t you think it’s better to have emoji’s though? The vibe of the mail is more cheerful that way. When people put signs at the end of the mail, I put moving emoji around my name. Emoji of stars. Also, I like downloading funny pictures on internet with my phone (laughs). I send silly faces and funny pictures to my friends who love fun stuff.
●To Hashimoto Ryosuke kun … Thank you for being nice to me all the time! It was fun playing with you during rehearsal break.
●To my classmates… Let’s play hide n’ seek again!
●To my toy poodles, Rei and Soi (pets)… Don’t trash my room~
●To Kyomo chan … You’re really pale~. I wouldn’t be able to find you if it was snowing (laughs)

Talking over the phone is too nerve raking! Mailing is easier
I think I only talk on the phone when it’s an important message. I usually mail between friends. Isn’t calling too embarrassing? I can do writing more care freely. I never use the phone at home. I don’t even know my own home phone number (laughs).
I mail about 10 times a day. I don’t send mails that much. Messages are short. Isn’t typing on buttons too troublesome? That’s why I think I try to keep it simple and short. I don’t use emoji that often. When I type in a message, the prediction function has emoji that’d go with the words and when I see an emoji I’ve never used before, I’d use it that just because. When it doesn’t, I use an exclamation mark. When I’m too lazy, I don’t even put periods (laughs). But I have my own sign that goes at the end of mails. An emoji of a bomb next to a lightning bolt, then “TA!GA”, a bomb and lightning again at the end.
●To my teacher… I’m not the one who always plays tricks! (laughs)
●To dad… I want a dog. I want a Yorkshire Terrier, is that okay?
●To Yuta… The clothes you wore today matched mine!
