“Eh? Where did you hear I can play the piano?”
It was on duet’s October issue~!
I never thought I’ll appear in this corner! ‘cause I haven’t played the piano in front of everyone as a Jr yet. I started playing in 2nd grade. The reason is that my father told me “guys who can play the piano are cool” (laughs). I started with group lessons playing cute children songs but I learned how to play classic once I got into private lessons. I remember hitting the notes while crying because I couldn’t get better but my father said “are you going to quit, just ‘cause you can’t play?” to me and that got me fired up. In last year’s competition, I played my first solo “Vltava (Moldau)” I was really nervous but it went well with my family coming to support me! Favorite part of playing the piano is that it feels refreshing after playing one song. The other day, my mother requested Beetle’s “LET IT BE”, I rearranged the song my way and I think it turned out pretty good. I’m practicing J-POP lately and I bought a sheet music for Hey!Say!JUMP’s “Ultra Music Power” to play. I want to try SMAP san’s “kono toki, kitto yume jyanai/this moment isn’t a dream” and JUMP’s “Dream come true”. But I have shootings for the drama lately that I haven’t done much of playing… That’s not good, maybe I won’t be able to say this is my talent anymore!? I’ll practice today so I don’t give this corner a bad name (laughs).
