Haha, yes, I am still making my post subject to be names of songs, in this case it's the great Canadian rocker girl Skye Sweetnam. (who also appeared on DisneyMania! Vol. 3...
Anyway, I had my first four classes today. OI've got my last tomorrow. I really enjoy most of my classes. I'm doing Two Religious Studies courses. My Contemporary Issuses and The Bible course is tomorrow. I'm excited about that one but I heard Dr. Hawkin is boring, oh well, I guess I'll see tomorrow. Today I had Intro To Buddhism. Dr. Rainy is interesting. I just find her a bit crazy. Talking about Crazy, I'll go on to my Philosophy Prof who came in and was yelling the whole class and talking about the man outsid ein the hall who shuts all the doors. Our prof opened the two doors in the classroom to get air circulating through because it was so stuffy, and because he was yelling so loud, another prof in one of their offices came along and shut our door. Our prof was like "If we melt, we'll blame him because it's always easier when you blame someone else, it eases your conscenice. Don't you notice that whenever a disaster comes about, the blame is put on the president and everyone feels more at ease?"
So, yeah, I have crazy profs... but I really like my English prof... why?
My english prof walks in and he stands in front of class, he takes out white cards and passes them around, he looks at the class smiling and says "please write your full name and something interesting about you, it'll help me remember you" then he's like "SO, about me... I'm Christopher Lockett... Blah blah blah (I can't remember what he talked about here, just because I wasn't interested where he got his PHD and all that crap) anyway... my fave shows are West Wing... blah blah blah... but the best show on television is Buffy The Vampire Slayer!" Ain't he great? lol... Anyway, during the course outline he's like "some excuses that won't work when missing exams and essays are 'I had a bad break up' or 'my pet was died' or 'I stubbed my toe' although, if you say that Space was playing a 24 hour Buffy marathon, I may let you away with that one!" I love the way that man thinks! lol... I can't wait to get further into the class if it wasn't for reading Shakespeare... yes, William Shakespeare... good ole Billy S... although, I find it funny that such a flambouyant man would be teaching such a tragic play (Henry V)... He also said "I'm traching this courses even though I'm more of a contemporary american literature teacher. I'd much rather read Harry Potter!" Seriously, this man gets two thumbs up in my books!
Anyway, that's about it about my courses this semester... I dunno how tough they're gonna be, but, I'm hoping they're all interesting! anyway, I'm off!
