Chi Alpha Cafe!
I think Chi Alpha cafe is gonna be a huge success...
o.kay, for those reading who don't know what Chi Alpha Cafe is, then I'll explain it!
Chi Alpha cafe is set up in the University Center of our University (MUN). Chi Alpha cafe gives away free coffee, hot chocolate, and tea, along with free cookies that the Chi Alpha members made. (Chi pronounces Ki as in Kind, not Chi as in Chime!) anyway, people who arrive at the university by metrobus, or other ways of transportation usually end up at the UC, which is where the Cafe is located! passer bys usually stop to have a coffe or tea, and while there we chat with them and they get to know us and stuff. A couple people have been brave enough to venture inside and sit and listen to the music we play (of course, we play christian music, and sometimes we have one of the worship bands play live!) anyway, my point is is that the people at Memorial University of Newfoundland now realize that there is a christian prescence on campus, and we arn't those old farts who they think about when they think about christianity. some are even starting to realize that church may be funnier then they thought with youth music like we play! I'm really excited by Chi Alpha cafe and I am REALLY hoping that more and more people start showing up to Chi Alpha, that would be SO great to see some of the people who showed up at the cafe come out to Chi Alpha and get saved, I think that that would be one of the most awesome things! I'm really hoping this outreach as an effect on the lives, and minds of the people at MUN, I really hope it draws people into Chi Alpha and makes them realize that christianity is a great thing to have in your life.... plus, seeing such a big christian influence on campus at the cafe, it helps others realize that if they were to become christian, the critcizem some christians get, they won't be getting it alone... but the thing is, people on our campus now realize that the christians on campus are the ones trying to make a difference and make things better! they realize this through the cafe and just the way we help out at things!

CHI ALPHA JOINT SERVICE!!! YAY!
Chi Alpha is mainly of the Pentecostal denomination, so, Chi Alpha is having one of their services with SASF and MUNCF, which means more people at our service!!! MUNCF is MUN Christian Fellowship and it's interdenominational, SASF is Salvation Army Student Fellowship, which explains it's denomination... I just can't wait because I think it's going to be great to get to mingle with other people of different denominations but yet of the same religion! people who believe and know God as their personal Saviour! I get really ecxcited over these things, yes, God excites me, and I can't wait for His return to go meet with Him for the first time in Heaven! I CAN'T WAIT!
anyway, I must be off... I hope y'all listen to my radio show, I'm not sure if they're gonna play it this week, but next week it'll be on forsure, but still listen this week anyway, because there's a GOOD possiblity it might get played!!!! (www.mun.ca/chmr) friday's at 6 Newfoundland Standard time!
