For some odd reason or another, a group of my friends (past and present) went to France. None of them spoke French it'd seem, even though I knew two of the people who were in my dream totally could (Sara and Cat). Whatever the case, I guess that I got on a plane at like, 2 in the morning and flew over there to help them get everything figured out. Perhaps the most amusing part was that no time had seemingly passed in my trip over there--it was only about 2:10AM when I arrived. I got everything figured out for them, including a return flight back to the United States, a hotel room for the night, and apparently a movie, which was all because I spoke French with the person in charge. I really didn't get it.
So I woke up, then went back to sleep. As we know, I tend to pick right back up on dreams if I can fall asleep quickly enough. Sure enough, that was the case. I awoke in a really strange movie theatre, and on the screen was...oh, what movie was it? Latter Days? Except not really, just this skewed version of it. Whatever the case, I felt practically frozen in my chair, and my group of friends proceeded to make lewd and rude comments at the movie, and were all loud and everything. And the Frenchies kept saying "Stupid Americans!" and I was like QUIET FRENCHIES. Except it didn't work so well.
And then these two dudes in front of me started making out, and I was like "Okay that's nice but this is neither the time nor the place." And then I was chased by a black guy who apparently wanted to make out with me, too. It was incredibly confusing and he wasn't even all that attractive. But anyways, I ended up running up to the screen, where I promptly teleported (a la Paige Matthews from Charmed) back to the United States.
My dreams are so very strange. And I love them so.
Things are going all right. My car exploded but we're working on that. I need to get a job soon. Summer's on its way, and I actually feel comfortable with myself (mostly). Nostalgia, my drug, has not been very present lately, and I'm thankful for that. I was getting tired of reliving the past.
Oh! My birthday was just a little over a week ago. I'm 20. I'm legal in Japan. Woo.
