what did I do to deserve
Haven't written in here in about seven or eight decades. There's no good way to catch you all up on my life.
I'll try though. I'll do it in traditional outline form.
I. Introduction (this is what you just read.)
II. Body
A) I finished the spring semester with good grades and have moved from the dorms to Cambridge to East Boston.
1. The rent is lower here.
2. But dude upstairs smokes pot all the time and hit his girlfriend once.
3. But our landlord is pretty awesome.
B) I still have to have checkups on my little annoying liver tumor but I shouldn't keel over anytime soon.
1. Next liver ultrasound is December 10.
2. I hope it's the last.
C) Summer was a drag, but in my experience summer is always a drag.
1. It was way too hot and Murray was always pissed off.
2. Oh yeah, we got Murray over the summer.
a) Murray is awesome.
D) Fall is here and I couldn't be more pleased.
1. Finally the weather is not awful.
2. Gray skies! YESSS
E) Chad and I have had our one year anniversary.
1. We went for a walk and I kept my shoes on.
2. Chad's still pretty awesome.
F) I turn 25 in exactly a week.
1. Say what you will, but I still feel old.
2. As Kelly said two years ago at this time, halfway to fifty.
G) I am in the Marriage of Figaro in December.
1. A tiny little weenie role.
2. On the other hand, less chance for me to screw up.
3. At least for such a small role, Barbarina is pretty interesting.
4. ... if by "interesting" I mean pubescent.
H) We've been so busy we haven't bought groceries in about two weeks.
1. Needless to say I'm pretty hungry.
III. Conclusion
A) I have to do laundry too.
B) Why is adulthood such a bummer?
C) I miss my family.
