Ring dance was actually pretty fun. Gemma and I
didn't really make plans before going out the door so we kinda just
winged it, tried to go to Silverado but it was packed, and then after
15 minutes of trying to find a parking space, we tried
Sweetwater...also packed. We then went to Uno's, which was not as
packed and we ate there. Then we went over to the dance.
There weren't that many people there, maybe 100 or
so at its peak time, half of them not dancing. Then Mr. Mills came and
started policing the dance floor and "making room for the Holy Spirit."
Yeah that was pretty funny. After that, most of the people there left
to go party at Tuckahoe or something. Then there were less than 40
people at the dance, and in the cafeteria that's really few people.
Despite the lack of people, the dance was still not bad. Most of the
people that left were the annoying people anyways. Zane's band played
and they were allright. Individually all of the people were really
awesome, but I think there was a lack of synchronization or something,
could have been the audio system. Andrew and Andrew were really good on
the keyboard and Lauren's rendition of Moving Units' "Is There Anybody
Out There?!" was also really good.
After the dance was over, I stole balloons, and a 2
liter coke, and then proceeded to have difficulty putting the balloons
in my car. I finally completed the task after 5 minutes of me trying
and failing, and about 30 seconds of Gemma trying and succeeding. We
drove towards her house and decided to go to McDonald's...so we did. I
dropped her off with her mom looking not so happy, and said goodnight.
It was a good night.
